You have got to be kidding, the order that jumped out to being delivered Dec 31st just got cancelled. Funny how that happened the day after I complained and they put a note on the order. I do not know what the order said but I was told if it did not ship by Thursday to chat with them again which I was not happy about just tell me my order will ship in 3 days but the chat again makes me feel you aren't confident and then today THE WHOLE ORDER IS CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I am that person, I went through line by line and all items (1o items total) except 2 are still available in the sizes and colours I ordered so why cancel my whole order just remove the 2 items, you have done it before. A few years ago I had an order with 15 items and I only got 4 but this time you cancel the whole order?????????????????????

Now for those who want to visualize, I am on chat again basically saying WHAT THE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and doesn't my boss call and want to discuss the workflow I handed in this morning. So here I am trying to chat and let's be honest I am very pissed off at this point but also trying to explain to my boss the process when we do not have an item in stock and we have to make it. Oh my gosh multi tasking was not my forte in that moment but I wasn't leaving chat.

So in the end they told me to reorder everything (without the two items that are out of stock) and they would price adjust everything and ship it to me for free (um, yeah, even with the 2 items removed I am well above the free shipping level).

Ultimately I feel like this was all done just so they could bump out my ship date without me complaining and because even though they are still offering Order Today to get by Christmas but no my area is an a restriction because I am considered a small town.

Not to mention honestly did the ship date annoy me, yes but I was more worried my items were going to be out of stock and sure enough the one item I really wanted/needed is out of stock. The whole thing that set me off about Dec 31st was we are now going to go through Boxing Day and what is likelihood some of my items will become out of stock and that is exactly what happened. To make it worse on the 12th when they didn't ship I checked and every item was still in stock but now 2 are not.

Finger-Crossed when it finally comes I get all 8 items I ordered.
I am speechless! Not sure if I could have spoken to any CS agent ( without screaming ! ) if this had happened to me.. Sassy.....no one needs this amount of stress.
Enjoy this cute meme....I love dogs and cats and every other fur baby who makes me laugh.

I was glad I added liquid fabric softener to my bedding wash load yesterday. I am using the softener to get me to nod off faster since I am having issues getting to sleep. Will double the softener next time to boost scent as it seems too subtle.

Giant Tiger VIPs- did you notice how last week's offer was Monday to Sunday for the Giant Value frozen meals and sides? Is it likely that future coupons will not follow flyer dates? I would like to see $5 off wus $20 on regular priced food offer for January.

It seems that stores in the mall have been in Boxing Day mode since the US Thanksgiving. Still possible to find a large size garment here and there. January's stock will be very limited on the racks for fall and winter garb, unless some stellar returns join the racks. Noticed lots of xxs sizes.

RW&Co was dead quiet last night. I need to stop in to see if there is a dressy shirt or pant calling my name on my next visit. Time for tea!

Just because you might have reached a (hopefully) temporary plateau, don't be discouraged. Allow your body to acclimate to your new metaboloic level. Holding steady for a month or two should be just fine. In fact, it stabilizes you in the long term and makes it that much more difficult to exceed your current weight.

I, too, am trying to get past my currently stubborn level. I may drop below it, but then I creep back up to it or exceed it. When I exceed it, I drop back to it much more quickly, too.
I've over-indulged, these past two weeks, and added a couple of pounds I wanted to shed. I've been taking advantage of the Subway BOGO promotion for foot-long subs. I get the cheapest (Meatball Marinara) for $10; so it comes out to $2.50 for a 6" sandwich. This is a perfect for meal-sized portion for me. Where else can you get lunch for $2.50?

An added benefit has been that I lost the extra pounds. It turns out that the 6"-size is a perfect lunch portion for me. The meat is modest, while the heap of vegetables and bread allows the sandwich to satisfy my appetite, without the additional calories. (I stay away from the mayo sauces.)

It looks like Jared Fogle was onto something.

The 6" portion might be too much for some, but you can always divide the foot-long into a 4-inch or 3-inch sub for yourself. It might be something to consider. I believe that I am actually eating myself thin. YMMV

It is currently 615 am . And I'm. Trying to get my brain organized for the next 48 h. Lol. Will be busy, but doable.
Definitely full of first world problems..lol

Sales flyers came out today, I. Will peek later. I think no frills has a decent roast sale.
Definitely need a pantry organization hour. Just to get things in shape.
And prob a good spice drawer clean out as well.
I should do the freezers but, Definitely not a today problem.

If memory serves... end of January? Was the PC bonus offers... hmm. Might budget for that.

Ok off to gather craft supplies, my day planner for 2025( so exciting) and find a tea.... hugs to all

Good Morning! It's trying to snow here now.

Friend and I were going to leave today for our night away and Costco run. But have pushed it till tomorrow since she had work to do today still and would make us leave too late. Now we can leave early tomorrow instead! Hoping to wrap up my Christmas shopping at Costco! Will pack my overnight bag this afternoon so I am ready to roll in the morning.

Upcoming flyers- Wrote out a small list. Not really much that is a need (more wants lol junk) I may pop out at 8am to No Frills and get some roasts for the freezer and redeem points for them. Will see! Will stock up on BD cheese at RCSS. Pm FB for $4.44. Use 50C off coupon. Receive 1000 PC pts.

Check the PC app for the spin to win. I won another box of Kellogg's cereal. Will pick that up later today so I don't forget about it.

Now to get this work day over with... So many people on vacation- waiting on answers for stuff and won't hear back till the new year is seems.

    Have a great day!

I love love when I get my new day planner for the next year! Usually order in August/September but time flew this year and I just received it last week (had to order printer toner and remembered to ask them to add the planner to my order!)

    Good Morning Everyone,
Had some light snow this morning, it did not stick bu they are calling for more this afternoon, honestly, won't be sad if we don;t get any.

Another busy work day, did I get all the inventory stuff done yesterday, nope, there was some stuff I needed more clarification on which I think I have now and should be able to wrap up inventory today. I also need to do some testing on our new test sever for some upgrades we will be doing in the new year, that is plan for today workwise. I trying not to take on anything new before shut down.

Around the house, I did get the kitchen cleaned up but did not get the pantry containers washed so those need to be done today.

Christmas, looks like Mom has cancelled Christmas Dinner, guess she had a moment with Bro yesterday. I think I will plan for Lasagna that night even if it is just us all good.

Dessert for Christmas Eve also a work in process, I was a little disappointed with what I found so far, I did find one recipe but will see if I can find something a little more show stopping today.

Christmas gifts, I am so torn, almost all of my family is on various diets and my love languages is let me feed you but I also don't want to make things that will go to waste. My original plan was let me make a breakfast "basket" but again will they eat it???? Still a work in process.

I do need to get our garbage out before the snow comes so I will do that shortly. My meeting for today is cancelled so we will see what I can knock out and go from there.

    Happy Wednesday.

Nice storey Lizzie ,enjoyed reading it.We feel the same way as you we helped our daughter when she did her post grad in toronto with groceries as an entry level job didnt cut it.Then when we saw how mature she was living on her own we stepped in and paid off her school loan she had to take out the one year .We paid for other years ,then we stepped in and paid for sons college equal to what we paid for her.
We never took out RESP i wish we did ,as we were struggling back then with hubby off work ,on strike etc .But in the end we were there for our kids.

Hubby and i got our haircuts feels so good ,i gave my hairdresser a samll gift bag and small amount of money in an envelope for xmas .Glad she fit us in .

I know when I went to uni ( age 20-24) my Mum could not afford to send 5 kids to school. I got student grants and loans and lived at home over the summers to save money.

    Good Afternoon,
I have hit that 2 o'clock wall but considering it is 2:20 guess I cannot complain.

I think I am done most of the inventory posts and I have one more explanation to send in. Testing has also started but noticed a few things that I am comparing between our current system and the upgrade.

It has been snowing off and on all day but it isn't sticking which is good with me. I am not going to lie when I have to shovel and clean off the car it makes me want to stay home and hibernate. Although maybe that is what I need to try to knock out some of this house stuff.

Still need to look at the Flyers, I did look at the front pages this morning and was a little shocked to see the Beef Roast that RCSS has on sale says ungraded meat, what does that mean???????

I am a little disappointed the last couple of years I have not seen Prime Rib on Sale, I used to save my points and get it at either Sobeys or RCSS but Sobey's hasn't put it on sale the last few years and I think I missed the RCSS sale last year. It is not something we buy often but it is a nice treat. I see Metro has it on sale but I liked using my points to pay so we shall see. Plus not sure I will be near a Metro before Christmas.

Think I might set a 15 minute timer and do some tidying up, see if getting up and moving helps my motivation to knock out these last few works things.
