    Happy Monday.
Got all my work done and was able to work on my crochet. Definitely a good start to the week
I want to use up bits and bobs of stuff this week
I have way to many open containers of little stuff I noticed in the bathroom.

Happy Monday! Clouds and a bit of blue sky but no sunshine at the moment. I think we are expecting rain? I need to look at the weather app again. Weather seems to change every minute I can't keep up!

We have a pipe leaking from our one bathroom. Noticed it after DS was in the shower and water was pouring our from light fixture on the main floor foyer when we were on our way out the door. DS was excited to look into the issue so him and Dad taught each other a few things lol. We have a plumber coming today so shouldn't be to expensive to fix. Good timing as we are getting ready to renovate that bathroom so glad it happened now and not after we put in new everything!! We are cutting out the ceiling and replacing drywall (we could have dried it but would rather not take chances for mold) That is DS and Dad project! Good for them to have projects together I will remind them they still need to install our rind doorbell DS disconnected the old doorbell but needed a certain drill bit that he needed.

Today- Have a few work things to do - Once I receive a reply from someone...then I can do it. Will continue cleaning up some things in my office. Oldest is sleeping ( I think it was 3:30am when he came home...musicians working on an album...) so I will wait till he is up and gone before I start moving stuff in the closet to make room for some work things to store up there (monitor/keyboard etc) His room is on the other side of the closet)

I bought the 6pk of romaine at RCSS for this week. It seemed to be the best deal. So we are getting our fix of ceaser salad. DS also uses lettuce for his work sandwiches (he is the only one that really eats sandwiches) Thinking I should make a mac and cheese today and then can pull some protein from the freezer and make salad and then dinner is done!

Groceries- The .50 cent coupons with the Canadian Dairy symbol on them expire Feb 28th. I will get more cheese at FB and use them up (not the best sale price but the best one this week) My kid eats lots of cheese!! We need eggs and bread so will pop out later today. I spent so much last week on groceries that I am trying to be simple this week and use up what we have but add fresh stuff. (I did stock us up on certain things but still can't believe the total when I looked at it!) Will get a few more packages of strawberries too. We are really enjoying them (I bought 4 we have one left)

I have laundry to put away too today! Never ending.

    Have a wonderful day!

    @cath007
We're all sorry you have a negative outlook about your life right now BUT things can change in an instant for the better if you ask for help.
Speaking with a qualified health professional is one way. Is there a way to ask your GP for recommendation of some?

lso about the whole " pre-diabetic " diagnosis. This is just my opinion BUT when they look at your blood glucose numbers all they are giving
you a heads up. YOU can correct this situation yourself.

Think of it as the " check oil " light in a vehicle. It's telling you the oil needs changing. If you do the preventative maintenance then the vehicle
keeps running. If you ignore the warning light then you may end up with a more serious vehicle issue and a large bill.
Just start small for yourself, eat a cleaner diet of fruits and veg, cut out sweets altogether, have little meat but good protein and try to eliminate
white foods ( simple carbs like rice, bread and pasta ) which turn into sugar upon digestion.

Your financial picture I do sympathize with as no one but a person living paycheck to paycheck feels that. I do hope going forward there is a way to
improve your earnings. Just try your best to look for situations that can keep you joyful. It doesn't have to cost money, maybe watching a few
    comical animal memes can help?

    Take care

    @Giseledta & @flemeth , thank you.

I can give everyone but myself grace, I feel like I have to bounce back and get back to normal.

I realized yesterday I am the same as everyone else, I see the bruises are gone looking at me you can't tell anything is wrong therefore in my mind I should be back at 100%.

I do have a doc appointment this week for something else so will see if I can get a few questions in.

@cath007 , no need to apologize, we all have good and bad days. We all have days that overwhelm us and we just need help and in some cases there is no one to help which sucks. Sometimes it is easier to say and express things online than to say them outloud in person.

I realize it seems to hard not but as @walkonby said, your check engine light is on. I know you have a lot going on but sometimes you just have to put yourself first (I know, sounds funny coming from me, someone who is more worried about everyone else). I have family who have been there and were able to turn things around, it does take hard work but it is possible.

All you can do is take it one day at a time and just remember even today wasn't perfect tomorrow is a new day.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Well today did not go as planned but should I be surprised at this point? Nope, not at all.

I got up, put a load of laundry in the washing machine and was starting my work day. I got a call, one of our Retail Supervisors took a fall last week, turns out they fractured a bone in their face and needed to go see a specialist today, their manager is on vacation so in I went to be the manager on-site.

Now I am back home and trying to get back on track. I got pulled into a few things this morning which were not on today's to-do list.

Yesterday I did not get very much done, my face just was not having it. I did get our produce prepped and made Peanut Butter Oat Bars.

Last night I made Baked Sausages with Baked Potato and Roasted Savoury Brussel Sprouts.

Tonight is a mystery I was going to make Yogurt Curry Chicken today but since I went into work I did not get a change to marinade it so need to come up with a plan b. Also I needed to take lunch with my and took rice for Lunch so do not want it again for dinner. Does anyone else find the sides are the hardest part of dinner some nights?

    Happy Monday Everyone.

Just started up another NY striploin roast. Cut off a slice and had a beautiful med-rare steak for dinner. Heaven.

    Good Morning!

Our leaky pipe is fixed and the best part is we cancelled the plumber! The boys wanted to take another look at it last night and fixed it!
    So proud of them!

Enjoying my coffee and then will write out my action plan. Work, Home Depot (return) Since I am out that way then No Frills- Rye bread.
Then a walk around Walmart to get some steps in. Maybe stop at the car wash on the way home! My car needs a good wipe down inside but that will have to wait till a warmer day.

Kitchen is clean. There is a small piece of mac and cheese and one chicken breast left from past meals. Will see what I find in my travels today before I figure out the dinner plan. Maybe keep it simple and make quesidias with salad and waffle fries. And use up that chicken!

My big must do for work today is done!! Woohoo! It's going to be a great day

Good morning crew! Had my first experience driving a spaceship yesterday! Dealerships can keep these computerized vehicles as far as I'm concerned.
Our clunker was in being worked on, took an extra day, so was gifted a free shiny new object to drive away in. Tell me who thinks that stepping on the brake
and pushing a button is logical to start a vehicle? My brain wanted none of that. Nor did it understand turning a radio knob style dial to select from D,R,P and N
in order to Drive, Reverse...etc. Why? Who dreamt up this technology?? Did they never hear the phrase " if it ain't broke don't fix it "?
I know...the gal who has never owned a cell phone was having a meltdown....ha ha
Did I mention the steering wheel was very very warm, almost too warm when I got in but I had no idea how to turn that feature off.
The freaking radio did not have AM?? How was I to listen to my channel on 680? I pressed the FM channel only to discover the volume
was left on super loud and while watching the road I couldn't find the button to turn it down. Blindly smacking the screen didn't work.

Did anyone else have as much fun as me yesterday? ha ha The swearing that I did inside that vehicle...oy!

@cath007 (((hugs))) When you post in the forum, I feel like you are checking in, even if life situation feels stuck. It is important to check in because it means you recognize that you are able to give your energy and thinking to come here for a little while.
Soon the clocks will go forward for daylight saving time. Could there be an outdoor program in March or a women's entrepreneur series that interests you to apply? I will send you message tonight.
