Not sure if i will go with hubby as son needs a sitter tonight ,i will see at 6.30 p.m how i feel.

Just called my dear older brother in london,ontario.My brother is always chipper and has the best disposition dispute the health challenges he has had lately.He has home care now for twice a week of showering and he goes to therapy once a week.His wife doesnt drive at all and their granddaughter age 26 comes in from out of town and picks her up and takes her for groceries .We always end our conversation with "love you " as he is 77 and it is so nice to say to each other.

DS just got home from work and confirmed he wasn't putting his work overalls back on till Monday morning. They stink! They are now soaking in a bucket with soap and vinegar! Will dump out before bed and put them in the washer and then hang them to dry! I will do his shirts tomorrow since they don't take as long to dry. The little things that make a mama happy!

Finished my 2 work reports and sent them off via email!! Happy to have that done!

It is windy and snowing here. Guess we are getting that Alberta clipper they are talking about.
Hopefully it isn't too bad!

Started snowing here this afternoon, not a lot of accumulation and hoping there won't be. Originally they were calling for 7 to 13 cm but we are now down to 2 to 3 cam.

Oh my gosh and my face and head knew when the snow was coming so this afternoon was not my most productive which kind of sucks, I have so much to get done. I will probably have to do some work this weekend to get caught up.

The last load of sheets is in the dryer, I just need to make the beds, this will happen very shortly as there is nothing worse than going to climb into bed and realizing you need to make it. So I will head up shortly and get this done.

We had a late lunch again, so no ideas for dinner, we are both still full. We need to get back on a normal eating schedule.

I am ready for a nap LOL, but need to make the beds and clean the kitchen.

@cath007 oh boy, yes first I got the norovirus and then right after that I developed a very nasty cold. This cold has been kicking my backside something awful.
Have you ever felt THAT sick that you miss whole days? Just sleep, blow my nose and sneeze all day. Today there was a glimmer of improvement as I could actually taste the eggs I made. Hoping for the best for the weekend! Ty very much for your sweet comment!

Good Morning Everyone,
Ever have one of those days where you are determined to have a good day but you feel like the world around you is kind of laughing at you.

I knew I was up to 5 trainees which is usually when my world becomes chaos, 3 or more equals chaos for me especially when they are all in different locations across Ontario. I thought I had 5 turns out it might be 7. Also I was given the wrong start for one so I am again double-booked.

I am trying my best to be like I got this all is good but deep down I know it is going to be chaos but I am going to do my best to achieve what I need to achieve and not let it knock me down. Last year when we hired 6 in 5 weeks and I feel like my world crumbled a little bit but I am going to try my best to not let that happen again.

I did decide today is sheet washing day, my bedding is going now and I will have Mom toss hers down to go in next.

I have so much I need to get this weekend but realistic nothing is getting done. I am attending a funeral and will probably need a day to do nothing.

When I end up in situations where I have so many trainees and so much going on, I really need my weekends to decompress but looking at it almost every weekend we have something going on. Maybe it is my introvert side but I feel like I need recovery time to decompress and prepare for the next week.

Goals for today, check Homework, set up next week's training, wash the bedding and clean the kitchen, if I get all this done I will be happy.

I sympathize about your day.
Mine could be described as a hot mess. Everyone survived, but at one point I just went ok. Cleaning up after everyone leaves.
Sometimes ya just don't fight the day and laugh.

I worked the election yesterday. It was a very long day at 14+ hours but the pay was decent and I was at a seniors home so only tenants could vote at our location so that made it easier.
It was supposed to snow today and then we ended up with rain tonight. Makes me happy to see the snow melt, but we have a cold weekend ahead. But it’s March so that makes me happier.

I re-retired again yesterday! My friends invited me to join them in Mexico at the end of the month as their original guests are unable to come. So back I go for what I expect will be a pretty economical vacation in the 2 bedroom condo they booked.

Crappy weather in my area but I just ventured out close to home.
Coffee at Mcdonalds.
SDM- Clearance toothpaste (expires 2027) SCOP paper towel (Feb sale sign still up)
RCSS- Walked around but bought nothing. Had a good chat with a gent about the coffee choices/prices.
GT- Bought milk, t-shirt for me, elbow noodles (stocking my bin up for mac and cheese)
FL- 4 cans of tomatoes at .99 (Scene offer)

Now home and to figure out what dinner should be. Thinking perogies for sure since we have lots and sour cream to use up. Maybe will pull steak out of the freezer since they are wrapped individually and will thaw easy. Frozen veggies in the freezer I keep ignoring...tonight is their night to shine!

Afternoon i did 2 loads of laundry one is in now.

Chatted with my daughter at around noon til 1.00 p.m .Then i feel asleep on the couch from 1-4,i guess i need it with this flu /sinus cold.

It was so nice to be buy myself last night as hubby went and watched the girls til 11.00 p.m .My daughter-in-law put cara to bed at 8.00 p.m before they went out so it was only papa and Ashlyn.
