My dear hubby turned 66 today we celebrated yesterday had swiss chalet as it was 19.99 tuesday special with 2 drinks .They added the 2 drinks awhile ago i guess .

Good Morning Everyone,
We have success, I was able to wash my pillow top mattress cover in the new washer and I am ecstatic.

Let's just face it, I am who I am and I woke up at 10 to 3 this morning and could not fall back asleep because my brain decided now was a good time to debate my choice of washer and did I make the right choice. Which I know at that point didn't matter because I have the Maytag but you know sometimes the brain is going to do what the brain is going to do.

My fear now is because the washer is so big, I just want to keep adding more and more to it. Even when I put my mattress pad in, my brain went "there is more room," although I would never add anything else to that load.

Once the bedding is done, I am going to wash pillows, they need it. Oh how I have missed washing pillows.

Made a list from the sales, I don't see much we "need" so not sure if shopping will happen today, we shall see.

Saw a little bird inside the RCSS entrance. He must have flown in and could not find his way out. Sadly, the staff told me that it happens often and they tried to unsuccessfully trap them, but have resorted to just shooting them. Poor little guy(s).

Another RCSS deli staff member stopped me and told me about the discounted capocollo. I guess I have gained a reputation of always hunting for the heavily discounted deli chubs. Bless her heart for her effort.

I finally ate something. I was thinking I wanted something bad to eat so kept putting off making something...finally made a pot of rice and had some of that!
After work I'm going to treat myself to an Oat Iced coffee at Mcdonald's for $1.05. Never tried it before (I've never had iced coffee- Talked myself into thinking I don't like it) But for $1.05 i should try one!

Been a pretty busy work day- which is good- means tomorrow should be quiet I booked Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday off next week so will be a nice little break.

Saved $22 off our auto and house insurance today because we are retired ,some policies give that my agent told me .I will take it -thank you.They went up $400 more than last year i tell you what not is going up in price .!!!

I just bought new BC potatoes and cherries-also grapes from Mexico. No US produce. My friend is paying me to chauffeur her older twins next week-more travel money in the budget. She has company coming and will be showing them the sites.
DH applied for and is receiving EI as there is no work for him as lunch supervisor or aftercare in the summer. Wish he had applied the last few years but better late than never.

Good Morning Everyone,
Was up early this morning and got right to work because I remembered I was supposed to run some stuff after work last night and I forgot. So I got up and got it done before everyone logged in.

I did consider taking today off but I have a meeting this afternoon I had to take so I am working.

Since I was up so early I have taken a few small breaks. I have washed the microfibre cloths, I know they need to be washed but it always seems like such a waste of a load for such a small load. Although I did find a bin of cloths I forgot we had so I added those.

I went to take a shower but decided to clean the bathroom instead, it needed it but with this heat it just was not happening. I did still need to do the floor, will take the vacuum up and get it done later.

This cooler weather has brought back my ambition.

I did all the bedding done yesterday including my pillows. Mom said hers are fine she just wanted her one pillow cover washed.

Loving the washing machine although it does make this bumping noise I do not like but did it on the first cycle I ran so thinking it is "normal." The dryer does leave something to be desired, kind of wishing I went a little more high-end but the difference between the one I got and the next one up was almost $500.

I was excited to have the different settings but honestly, after using them yesterday I feel like the timed dry is the way to go. Even on our old dryer I always used the timed dry. Only downside is this one is a knob so I only have the option of 15 min, 45 min, 60 min or 90 min. I do miss the 30 minute option.

Time to knock more work things out but hoping I can take a few more breaks and knock some stuff out before the weekend.
