    @cath007 , **HUGS**

If you have a local facebook group check and see some if any of the pantries offer a drop-off service.

I know you were talking to someone, can you reach out to them, they may have options.

Sadly, I am not sure of what services are offered in Quebec.

    We are here.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Was in a branch today to help with inventory prep, it is that time of year. For some people it Christmas for us it is Inventory.

I was going to grocery shop my way home but decided I didn't feel like. Locally I don't really need anything, it was mostly things I was going to pick up for donations. I think I will wait and go next week and go to different stores closer to work as they have better deals. As well, I found out one of our branches is collecting for a different charity this year and they are asking for gifts for Mom and Dad so will pick those up as well at stores with a better selection.

I need to figure out dinner.

It looks like another band of rain is coming through, all of a sudden it is very dark out and I just want to curl up on the couch but still have a few more work things to knock out.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

This morning was a busy one, bought gas, then off to my hygienist appt. Shopped at both FreshCo and FB.
then on the way home, just 2 minutes from my street the left turn signal goes kaput. I recognized the " double time "
sound the signal makes right a way. DH replaced the bulb the last time this happened but I didn't have it in me to turn
around and go buy a new one from Crappy Tire. Tomorrow.

Today’s been a day. On Tuesday I went to a chiropractor for my shoulder that started acting up again. Let’s just say it was rough. Looks like it will be some time to get it back to normal as it’s 2 issues at once that technically need two totally different treatments so it’s tricky. There’s a mild sprain to the AC ligament and also another ligament has tendinitis. Yay!. Thank goodness for extended benefits now($115 saved).

Worked extra long on Wednesday so I took today off which I needed. Laundry is doing its thing, kitchen is clean and so is the bathroom. Vacuuming is also done. Sweet Dh is stopping by Costco to grab a couple of the things I need. Didn’t get the fridge organized but that’s ok.

    Now to figure out dinner…….

    Have a great day everyone

Cleaned up a bag of bum-abandoned clothes and was rewarded with a can of mandarin orange slices.

Rescued 56x 140g bags of Kit Kat bites from the dump.

My Shell station had 4x wraps and a sub sandwich diverted from re-cycling.

Threw out a few sleeves of stale graham cracker biscuits. I was surprised, since they were dated 2024 Sept and I've eaten far older stuff with no problems. I wonder if it was because they were graham wafers. Regardless, I found them abandoned, so no financial loss in tossing them.

I went out for stir fried noodles with beef in Vietnam for the princely sum of $5. Sure wasn't beef -but very tasty all the same!

That sounds like a beautiful way to spend a couple of days @coupon girl ! Have the best time at DD's and also when DS drops by.
I did a quickie in and out at Metro. I love the brand of mushrooms they sell, ( Belle Grove ) the 227 gram pkgs. are on for $1.99
this week, both Cremini and white.
Then I scored a frozen pkg. of already cooked small scallops on clearance f0r $6.99 . There were more grams in this pkg. than the
fancy name brand ones which were $12.99 .
I rescued a bag with 3 heads of cauliflower from the reduced rack ( $2.00 ) and what a surprise, none of them had any black spots
on them?! So I'll be making a double batch of these today! ( I'll freeze most of them ).

I'll modify the recipe using my Carbonaut bread to dry out for the crumbs, use diced celery instead
of the evil starch veg. ( corn ), and replace the sour cream with 0% fat, plain Greek yogurt. No fresh
chives here, but I have lots of green onions to take its place.

    Good Morning Everyone,
A much needed work from home day. Although I feel like I have not accomplished anything yet today as I have been helping other people, but that is my job.

This week has been hard because everyone is questioning me about the person taking over my job and that as of today, I am out. I will continue to work with production but as far as the branches are considered I am just the ERP manager now. Although I have been told my announcement will be coming out but it hasn't and now my boss is vacation.

Woke up to a text from Mom that I needed to go get the mail she ordered something. So I ran out this morning and did it before town got busy. Also before I started working on something and lost track of time. I have a few tasks to get today that I might lose time well working on them.

I thought about going to the store but still did not feel like it. There is nothing in the sales really pulling me in this week.

I did not clean the kitchen last night so I will need to do that today. So much to get done so little time, but I will slowly work away at it.

    Happy Friday Everyone.

It is not that my father dont care...

It is just that he dont listen and understand me like the way I would want...

    Being poor is hard....

    What is wrong with me???

@cath007 , it is hard for others to understand what we are going through and how our brains process things.

I am someone who holds onto things and my brain just doesn't let it go. Others around me get frustrated but as I always say the brain does what the brain wants to do and I have no control some days.
