    Good Evening Everyone,
After I posted, I got off my b*tt and decided to get some things done but it was a bit all over the place.

I started by emptying the dishwasher and noticed there was some guck on the filter (mine does not have a removable filter), so I decided to run a cycle with some vinegar.

Since I had the vinegar out I decided to also run a vinegar cycle on our kettle and use the hot vinegar to clear my sink drains.

Then I was doing some general tidying up since a bunch of stuff had to be moved to put my bed in the hallways I was seeing what I could move and put where for now. I gathered up a bunch of cardboard and my cardboard box is almost full now.

Next was cleaning out the fridge, we had some food waste this week, it is on me, I did not think the containers of pasta and rice were that old but when I thought about it yep, out they went.

Then Mom asked for some help but wasn't ready for me when I got upstairs so I quickly cleaned the bathroom, well except the floor because Mom took a bath and it was wet.

Back down I came to take out her bedroom garbage and the kitchen garbage. Discovered the snow was melting so I cleared the stairs and decided to clean off the cars so it would not freeze around the wipers.

Then I got a wild idea, everything is melting the traffic cams show the roads are just wet, I can't believe I am saying this, let's go to Costco. They had Chicken breasts on sale and I have seen some articles saying there will be a chicken shortage in the new year and prices will "temporarily" jump 20% to 25%. So off to Costco I went but Mom told me to take her car since she has she snow tires.

Costco was really busy so I just grabbed the basics and will go back for the rest, I got:
    3 x Chicken Breast
    1 x Probiotics
    1 x Calcium Magnesium
    1 x All Dressed Chips
    1 x Dry Shampoo
All of those were on sale and then I also grabbed a bag of Doritos, a Bag of Nachos, an Old Cheddar Cheese, Naan and Apple Blossoms.
Okay more than the basics but got in and out in like 15 minutes which was enough for me, I will go back and look at some other stuff on a slower day.

Then home to make Dinner, I had some Alfredo Sauce to use up so I am Chicken Alfredo Naan pizzas.

Oh and as I was running out the door to Costco my packages that were supposed to come tomorrow came today so now my electric shovel and new vacuum are also living in our hallway.

Really wishing I had to this week off to knock some stuff out but also know that would not happen as we are too close to inventory. So we will see what I can get done.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Monday again, I swear time (not just weekends) is going by so quickly.

Trying to focus on all the work things but it was a slow morning. I have been working on getting up at 5 am (did not happen today, did not get up until 6) but also working on not starting work right away, which gives me the ability to have a bit of a slow morning before work.

So much to get done around the house, so many projects I want to work on but also hard because in most areas I want to focus on, I need Mom to say yes or no. I think it is the weather but she has been in a ton of pain and not in the best mood.

I would LOVE to tackle our front closet, so much in there we do not use and would love to turn it into my cleaning closet.

For now I will focus on the areas I can work on. Mom was pushing me to get the house cleaned up and I think she had a want to have it done for Christmas but she now knows bro won't be around so seems like we have backed off the wanting to clean up. But, I am trying to push forward the best I can.

We also need to process all the chicken I bought yesterday, all 3 freezers could use a good reorganize, always something.

Also need to figure out dinner, maybe Chicken Shawarma, or Mozzarella Chicken (I have Cherry Tomatoes I need to use up).

    Happy Monday Everyone.

I did nothing more than go for a walk and clean the bathrooms today. I bought one of the hand held power scrubbers from Costco and it works amazingly well on the shower stall but it appears I am missing one of the attachments and I bought it in summer and only noticed today as I was trying to clean corners. Ugh.

OOOH I want one of these! I had been looking at them on Amazon but will look at Costco! Thank-you!

@Frugalbigmama , I saw some stores have marked them down to $29.97 and they have the star of death.

I got mine on amazon, during on the Prime Days which at the time was a better deal. But if you can find it for $29.97.

Yesterday was a long day. If you ever need a reality check at just how fortunate you are just walk into a cancer agency. The sheer number of people was sad and to see that cancer doesn’t care of your gender, race, religion, economic status. It is truly heartbreaking. I realized just how fortunate I was with my diagnosis. I was completely exhausted yesterday and still feel it a bit today but alas life goes on and work calls.

Hope everyone has a great day and remember to hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. Life is so fragile.
@harbie I was shocked at the number of people at the cancer clinic when my friend had breast cancer. You had to take a number and wait to check in! We should be thankful for everyday that we have.

@HermanH I know burrs are really hard to remove. My poor dog gets covered in them when we go into the ravine, that I stopped going as too painful to remove.

@cath007 is there a food bank or church you could go to? I go to a community luncheon every week and they offer food to take home afterwards. Sorry you are going through a rough time. Please don't see yourself as a failure, a lot of us are struggling these days.

@cath007 nothing is wrong with you. I'm poor too, and I have learned that when money is tight, I have to be creative. Can you contact your local Salvation Army for help? Our food bank in town does deliver for people who can't make it out. Don't be embarrassed to ask for help.

@coupongirl hold onto your Moen receipt. Free replacement with proof of purchase for the lifetime of the item. I can attest that they do replace items for free. All my faucets are Moen and over the last 30 years and just once replaced a towel rack for free.

@cath007 your cat could have kidney disease as that also are the symptoms. Very common in older cats as I had one that passed away at 15 from kidney issues. You need to get your cat tested. Perhaps a humane society near you can refer you to a reasonable vet.
