I thought about it for a second, looked outside after he went up to bed and saw there was " some " snow, but I wasn't that worried as
the Station is around the block from us.

Around 6:10 a.m. I was up and he was now fast asleep, so I'll just go do it myself.
Holy COW!! My brakes were nearly useless! The first time pressing down I just slid. So after that I drove about 10 mph. Thank goodness
the roads were clear of other drivers. There and back, white knuckled trip...ha ha I am a real lightweight, he was right I should have left
this up to him.



btw @coupon girl I've had that whole raincheck denial reason given to me at Metro, Giant Tiger, No Frills and Food Basics. They're all in Cahoots!

Walkonby ,so glad i went out yesterday .I hate being in the car driving when it is slippery .

I just shovelled the few inches of snow ,it is light .I hate that we have a huge driveway ,it was fine when we had the kids home with 4 cars in it .

Just chilling today and staying in .I am trying to call walmart and complain .I bought a bag of yellow potatoes as they are the best for mashed potatoes ,when i ripped the bag open they were white potatoes ,i paid more for them and i didnt get what i wanted .Not sure what they will do for me ,if i can get thru on the phone that would be nice .

I got thru on the phone ,the person at walmart told me i could bring the potatoes back and we will fix it for you.

Update got my money back from Walmart on the potatoes,then found a wrangler long sleeve top for hubby reduced 5.00 reg 32.99 and 3 pairs of chaps socks 4.50 reduced .

I took a mental health day today. Was going to rage clean lol but decided I just needed out of the house.

So I made coffee this morning and went on my way. Found some deals at SDM (went to 2)

GT had another mark down on clearance so I picked up PUMA 3Pk boxers for youngest DS for $6 (Reg $19.99) Too bad oldest doesn't like that style.
First item for the 2026 Christmas box! I also picked up a gift set as SDM for my niece for her June birthday on for more then 50% off.

I have 2 options for dinner. Fish and fries (easy in the air fryer/oven) or Lemon Garlic Pasta (more work ...probably not going to happen) I don't really feel like either but we will in a few hours- At least the 1st option is easy!

Good deal I think on yogurt if you have the $1.50 off ANY Siggi's yogurt. The 4pk is on for $3.50 at Food Basics and you get some moi points. $2 after coupon seems to be a really good deal these days. They have had them at RCSS last week 2 for $7 and you received 500 PC pts on each so with coupon a good deal but they haven't restocked the vanilla in over a week (or else it just keeps selling out)

I am in for the day now....not feeling like doing anything really so may just chill. Use the day for what it is!

Busy few days, lots going on.

Yesterday I was in a branch going over some things one meeting ran late the second meeting ran late and then I had to play catch up.

Today was supposed to a work from home day but I had to run into the plant to collect some paperwork.

I grocery shopped my way home.

At RCSS I got:
4 x Dove Deodorant $5 +1000 pts
1 x Aquaphor Cream $14

Then off to Food Basics for:
1 x Ground Beef $5.88/lb (UGH!!!!!!)
2 x Peameal $2.88/lb
2 x Raspberries $1.88
1 x Mini Potatoes $1.49
2 x Rye Bread $2.88

Lastly off to No Frills:
2 x Blackberries $1.99
1 x Strawberries $1.99 (PM Zehrs)
2 x Limes $0.59
2 x Alfredo $3
2 x Everything Bagels $3

Only thing I did not get was cucumbers, I did not feel like running into WalMart and the ones at No Frills have gone up in price. I was going to grab them because I eat so many but there was no way I was paying $6 for a questionable bag that didn't look like they would last very long. So I will either need to run into Costco or Walmart next week.

Time to play catch up, I am almost 2 days behind now on the day to day not to mention I was supposed to be doing system testing today that did not get done because I ran to the plant.

Walked into my Shell station and saw only a single sandwich dated Feb 24. I thought it was going to be lean pickings, since all the others were dated Feb 26. I took the sandwich over to the gal and she told me that today was the 26th. So, I picked up 31x sandwiches, 6x double-cheeseburgers, 3x Hershey bars, a milkshake, 2x submarines, 5x strudel. A lot of folks got fed, today.

Found a couple of boxes of KD mac & cheese abandoned by a bum at the bus hub.

Found a hammer in the middle of the street. A day of plenty.

I went at IGA (QC) for the raspberries 2 pack at $3,94 with scene card.

At the same time I checked for coupons,

Huh they where the same 3 ones ( Oikos,Iogo Nano and Saputo Shredded cheese)
No signs of the others ones..
(I would love to find $1,50 Krema Yogurt,$1,00 Source Protein Yogurt,$1,00 Eggo, $1 Ferrero Rocher -Kinder Easter items)...
Never found the $0,50 blue cow coupon...

So I guess I will have to check to have maybe some luck at Maxi and Cie or Super C.
Why not put the same coupons in all the city please???

Managed to score cans of Coke 0 for .50 cents a can in Hong Kong. Considering it is 5.75 on the ship it is well worth me stocking up. Also bought some undies and candies at Marks and Spencer-just love going there.

Good Morning Everyone,
My brain is messing with me again LOL. Yesterday driving home I thought well at least today is Friday, it was not it was Thursday. Now my body feels like today is Saturday which it is not.

But, I was up early this morning and decided to dive right in as I hope to get some stuff knock out today so I do not have as much to get done tomorrow.

I have my bedding going no, mattress pad is in the dryer, pillows are in the washer and sheets will go in next.

Last night I ended up ordering pizza because my boss called me just after 5 (did not realize the time at the time) and by the time I ended that called and tested something in the system I looked down and it 6:20 and I had no plan for dinner and nothing out of the freezer. I did go out and pick it up which saves us $15. Now we have lunch for today.

Need to write a prep plan and meal plan. I did not have a meal plan last week and honestly, all week I have struggled with food, I am in a ruit. Nothing sounds good, no cravings, it has been a week of what, dinner again? Hoping for a better week next week.

Happy Friday!!!

Ended up making the pasta for dinner last night so the fish and chips is an easy option one night this weekend......I am thinking of going to visit family tonight so my house will have to fend for themselves. The weather looks clear and I need to get away from the house!

Happy I took yesterday off. I have gone through my email already and don't have much to deal with from yesterday which is nice. I think my plan is to deal with that stuff and then give my office a good clean this morning. I'm going to grab my portable table and set it up in my office so I can totally sort/organize and clean everything! I also have to move the pile of paper towels that has taken up a spot....I need to grab a few more today/tomorrow before the sale ends!
