After a long day at work Dh and I stopped into NF. After we made the rounds the total was $102.88 used points for OOP of $2.88 but earned 5600 back. Not too shabby. Now we’re stocked up nicely.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Yesterday was a bit of a day.

I was in the plant with my boss and another co-workers working on a project but it wasn't going well. We left knowing there is still work to be done and I personally think we are using the wrong program. There are 2 versions I think we are using the wrong version so that has been sent to our programming team.

We finished around noon so on my way home I went to Costco, it was insane. Even just getting into the parking lot was insane. I had to make it out for a meeting so I put my head down and tried to do my best, I felt so scattered and lost but I got everything I needed before the sale ended.

Only downside, I got home to see that they put the fan on sale early and some locations were already selling out. I was not happy because I didn't even think to look I was so focused on my list and getting home for my meeting, it wasn't on my radar.

After work was done I started gathering up our old electronic we had two dead fans and 3 bread machines (yes, they have been piling up what can I say out of sight out of mind). But I knew I needed to load them into the car or this morning I would talk myself out of doing to the e-waste event. I would tell myself oh you can just take them to the dump but going to the dump intimates me and have been putting it off for months.

I loaded them into Mom's car and I have no idea but something said "start the car." You probably guessed she did not start, Originally I was going to deal with it today but I was spinning last so I said screw and had it boosted and drove it for about an hour. You 12.6 Volts to turn the engine on, it was at 11.9 Volts, grrrrr. But it back up and running.

This morning I went to e-event, I added a dead immersion blender and alarm clock but forgot to take the printer (but I believe you can drop those off at any staples, I will look into this).

Then I took Mom's car back to the car wash, although I feel it wasn't as good this time but it needed it again it had tree poop all over it and I am still trying to get the other stuff off. I now have 95% off it mainly the back hatch I need to on now but my hand doesn't fit so I will need to find I can use.

Then I wanted to go to the Kitchen Stuff Plus as they had bathmats on sale and our old one slipped under Mom a few weeks back (the non-slip is not the best but they are over 10 years old I can't complain) but they don't open until 10 and it was only 8:30.

So I went back to Costco, got the fan, also found the Shelf Liners that are on clearance I could not find yesterday and the fascial towels in and out quick and easy.

It was now only 9:30 so I then went to the business center just to check it out. See what they had and wonder. I didn't go aisle by aisle but I will another day. It was so quiet, not overcrowded you could just look at things. I ended up getting a massive box of Nylon Gloves (Mom uses these when she processes meat since once her hands are dirty she cannot get up to get to the sink but also for some of crafts) I think was 400 for $13 something. I got a massive bag of Mini cucumbers, 3lbs for $5.99, a box of frozen green green (it is like buying to two Costco bags but Costco doesn't carry green beans anymore), and a pack of Chicken wings as they were $4.50 off a pack.

One small issue, I totally forgot I wasn't in my car so I did not have my cooler bag I always keep in the car so Kitchen Stuff Plus had to be quick got the bathmats but they are bigger than ones I bought before so will see if they work or if I need to return them and grabbed 2 more large mugs.

Now to see where the rest of the day takes me.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

Morning i spent the morning in hospital ,thinking i was having a heart attack .Nope extreme anxiety and musculoskeletal pain in my chest wall.
I must say 5 hrs spent in hospital great care ,from nurses and everyone ,just have to have a bit of patience .So a clean bill of health other than using a heating pad on my chest now and then and doing doorway stretches the doctor said .

Here is the story cause i feel you all care ,my son dropped in thursday to tell us his wife no longer wants to be married. What a bombshell ,Ashlyn and Cara dont know yet i feel it will be hard on them .We will still watch the girls one or 2 days after school but leave early at 5.30 before daughter-in-law gets home just 15 minutes early. So my dear son stayed overnight with us last night after work.

My son talked to his sister for a few hrs this morning as she has already gone thru it .
Life just throws us curveballs doesnt it .

Happy mother's day on sunday to all the moms of kids or fur babies.

Nothing much got done this afternoon.

I made lunch and a batch of Rice because I was planning on having Dumplings with Homemade Chicken Fried Rice. Normally when I am making the fried rice the same day I spread it out on a cookie sheet to let it dry out but today I fell asleep on the couch. It was only a 20 minute nap but the rice would not have been ready so now it is in the fridge for another night.

Dinner tonight ended up being Naan pizza with a Cucumber salad.

I have started a meal plan and think I will spend some time on Pinterest to try to get some inspiration.

I will also write a prep list as I do have quite a bit of produce I need to process which makes me super excited.

The plan for tomorrow is to have a prep day.

Sorry about what’s going on with your Son. I know you are a caring person to your family and you will be three for them whenever needed. This will be hard on the girls.

Wow @coupon girl . I’m so glad it wasn’t an actual heart attack but extremely scary nonetheless. I’m sorry about your son’s marriage. All you can do is be there for your grandkids and make sure they always know that you’re there for them and a constant in their lives which obviously you are doing.

I had such a nice day today. I’ve been working extremely hard these last few weeks and even though I was supposed to doing nothing I did clean the kitchen, partially the bathroom, put laundry away, dusted and cleaned some blinds before vacuuming. All was done by 7:45 am!

Then I had the “community” pup for the day ( I took her to her place for the night at 6pm). I kinda wanted to keep her overnight. We had such a great day. Walks in the sunshine, naps and snuggles. It it sad but also strangely comforting. We layer in bed in the afternoon watching Back to the Future and we both fell asleep . I’ll probably grab her tomorrow too.

    Have a great night everyone

Just returned from the last time slot to see The Sheep Detectives!! It was everything I KNEW it be in a feel good flick.
Corny jokes that actually make you laugh out loud. Tender emotional scenes that force water from your eyes.
Best casting of the voices hired to match the personalities of the sheep. I will watch it again once it comes to a streaming
option. This was what I requested for a Mother's Day gift.
