Good Morning Everyone,
I would love nothing more than to sit on my behind and do nothing, but my fridge that is busting at the seams says, "things need to get done."
The produce is soaking and will then be processed.
I have some meats that need to be processed.
I want to make some dressing, ever since the weather changes I am all about the bowls and salads.
I also need to make something for desserts this week, I have frozen pineapple I need to use or apple I could use, hmmm options.
Hoping since I bought Chicken Wings yesterday, Mom will make BBQ Sauce when she gets up.
Happy Sunday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Everyone happy mother's day .Thanks for all the wishes .
Update ,my son went to talk with his wife yesterday ,she said she will try . My son sent me a message this morning thanking me for being there for him ,infact last night he had friends message him and he said "no i dont want to go out just want to stay with my mom and dad.
My daughter-in-law messaged me this morning to wish me a happy mother's day .So i hope they can both work at their marriage of 17 years coming up in August .
God knows marriage is not always the honeymoon stage ,and it has its share of ups and downs .I hope things look up for them .
Walkonby that sounds like a very nice mother's day .I am just chilling after my hectic day yesterday .In fact watched half of a movie on netflicks with sally fields and an octupus so cute ,heart warming .
Thank you for all the nice wishes ,lets hope .Everyone have a wonderfull day .

@coupon girl I am happy to hear your son and his wife will try to work at staying married . They have been together for a long time and we all know that being married is not as easy as people think you have to work at still having that closeness that you had before you were married . I always believed that once there is kids involved you have to give it your all and try everything before you walk away because it’s not just 2 lives involved. I am wishing him luck that he and his wife will be successful

Happy Mothers day everyone-celebrating in Alaska and having seafood dinner on the ship tonight. Yesterday was pretty rocky-today is cool and overcast with some rain. Not really surprising so early in the season.

Good Morning Everyone,
Did not get as much done as I had hoped yesterday, but that is life.
I did get all of the produce prep done which was the most important part. We have TONS of Cucumber (bought 2 lbs. at Costco and 3 lbs. at the Business Centre but I will eat them all, no worries) and Bok Choy (bought 2.2 lbs. bag which I knew was a big bag but when I washed them they seemed never ending). Also had a Cantaloupe, Broccoli and Peppers that I prepped.
Today I will make two dressing (Balsamic & Creamy Feta).
Last night I made the Farmer Sausages I picked up at Costco with the last of the little potatoes I needed to use up and opened up one of the bags of Green Beans.
Good News, Mom likes the Farmer Sausage, I knew she wouldn't hate it but sometimes she likes and what she likes so I wasn't sure if I would get an they are okay but I prefer the other ones (Deli Cart Sausages that I haven't been able to find for the last 2 months) but she prefers the Farmer Sausage and they are less greasy, that is a win.
On my gosh these Green Beans are so good, they aren't the super fine ones so I can bake them (did a sheet pan meal last night with them) but after using them once, yeah, we have green beans for a long time, it is 2 x 3.5 KGs bags. It really is a lot but also happy to be stocked up.
I have regular laundry going today. Originally I was going to do the bedding but Mom said she needed regular laundry done so doing that today and maybe bedding tomorrow unless I get called to go somewhere.
Will need to go back to regular Costco to grab some of the new sales that started today. Main things I want to grab is Salsa, Beef Dumplings, also they have a new Reese's Bark I want to try (I am a sucker for Reese's). This should be a smaller trip but I am a sure there will be a few just needs pop up as well.
Ok, I need to try to find my focus.

Happy Monday!
House is chilly! But the heat is not coming back on! Hoody and yoga pants with runners on it is!
Million things to be done around the house.....so I am going to make a list and try and get some things done this week.
First thing I will finish tidying the kitchen. Then need a plan for dinner....DS requested pasta sauce so he can make his fancy garlic bread in the air fryer...so I will make a pot of that today and make pasta to go with it ( dinner for the men!). Then the sauce will be good for tomorrow night leftovers.
For me I will make black bean tacos! Or my usual chicken/sweet potato/green beans!
I needed a treat last night so I made a low calorie pudding. No sugar oat milk with zero sugar chocolate pudding. Topped with fresh raspberries. OMG. Yum!!!
Hopefully no body eats the one in the fridge and I can have it tomorrow night
A walk is a must today!! Starting the week off right with a plan to walk every day for at least 60 mins. (started the week off right last week walking in the rain with my sister but then didn't go much the rest of the week) and I love walking! I just don't enjoy walking around the neighbourhood....
Enjoy the day!

Took an early lunch break and went to the new laundromat to wash a basket of odds and ends. The manager gave me a free $10 GC so my first visit was free and now I can go back for another wash on them! Went for a 30 min walk while it was washing and now back home and it is already hanging up to dry.
Now it is time to eat. Thinking eggs with peppers and onions with an apple on the side for fiber!

@coupongirl I am glad you are ok, that must have been quite the fright. I am sorry to hear about your son.
We spent Mother’s Day with my brother and SIL. Went out for a lovely brunch. My sons call me and we made plans for lunch when I am back and they call my mom to include her as well, so I will get her flowers and they will get her lunch.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

We spent the day enjoying the glaciers and wildlife in Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska. It was chilly on deck but the sun was shining and no rain-like no other place on earth. Then I warmed up in the hot tub. We went for afternoon tea so I will be skipping dinner-I certainly do not need to eat 4 times a day!! In fact truth be known probably twice a day would suffice!

Good Morning Everyone,
It was a rough start to the morning over here. I bought 2 new mugs when I was out on the weekend (if you are looking for large-size mugs at a reasonable price, Kitchen Stuff Plus has them, Amazon has large mugs, but they come with a large price tag). I washed them up yesterday and went to use one this morning, and it is leaking from the bottom of the mug. I walked into a big puddle of tea on the counter. Will need to go and exchange it.
Then I start my work day early to knock out a few things before the craziness of the day, the tea should have been a sign. I have to do this mass upload before Go-Live and it has errored me out and there is no way to get around it. I have sent it to programming but if they do not have a solution, thousands upon thousands of entries will have to be done manually.
Now, I am just working on the random stuff well I wait to hear back.
Spring cleaning is hitting differently this year and I am on a mission. Now that all of the e-waste is out of the dining room I am ready to sort what is left and see what I can do it make it more functional. The dining room table will be leaving as we don't use it which I am actually looking forward too as it is just a dumping ground.
Also, I need to clean up part of the basement to try to get stuff out of storage. Mom says there is a lot so I think I have found a space but will need bro's help for the heavy lifting.
Last night we had Dumplings and Homemade Chicken Fried Rice for dinner. Tonight I am not sure yet. Maybe Steak Sandwiches with Parmesan Roasted Sweet Potato Slices and a Salad.
