Happy Friday!!!! Looks like a nice day out.

Finishing up a few work things but otherwise a pretty quiet work day.

Cleaned out my coupon bag- Tossed many expired . Sorted the good coupons in my actual coupon holder so they are ready when needed!
Put away clean laundry. I should do a load of my laundry and hang to dry...Was going to wash the bedding too but think I will wait till Monday- I should be over this cold by then hopefully and the germs can be washed away!
I need to plant my one and only tomato plant. It has grown so much in the house but I think it is safe to plant outside now...Hopefully I can keep it alive

Ok off to put the laundry on, take a shower, make some food and then go for a walk!

I came down with a doozie of a sore throat/itchy eyes/plugged sinuses right after I finished my
2 hour session ( treatment ) at the Hospital on Thursday morning.
It's the best place to catch all viruses.
My symptoms magnified so much that by Friday at 2 a.m. I had DH drive me to Emerg. as I
really needed to find out if this was " just a cold " or strep throat or heaven forbid covid!
Waited 4 hours there, no one called my name.
I informed them my Friday treatment was about to start at 6:30 and asked if they'd hold my
place until I found out if I'd be allowed to have the session with these symptoms. Fortunately
I was cleared for take off ( ha ha ) for my session and the Clinic called Emerg. to cancel my
place in line.
So I still don't know?? I hope it's only a bad cold as I've 2 full days to get rid of it.

Sure feels there's a target on my back these days with infections invading my body.

@ Walkonby- My cold started over night last Saturday while sleeping at my sister's place (I babysat my niece Saturday night and it was too late/rainy/dark to drive home) I guess my sister could hear me coughing through the night - because when we enjoying our coffee Sunday morning she choose to sit as far away from me as possible lol. Monday/Tuesday my body was so sore from all the coughing! It is still lingering not as bad and I went for a good walk at lunch so I'm not using it as an excuse so I must be feeling better

Good Morning Everyone,
I hope everyone who is under the weather is feeling better.

Oh my what a week. We have two large projects on the go at work right now and I am involved in both. We are getting rid of the custom program we have been using in production for 5+ years and putting in two new programs. I am involved into this since I am the ERP manager but also I have worked on the production side of our company quite a bit during the pandemic when we were short staffs so that has been consuming everything. But also we are redoing our website which is a Marketing project but since the website has to talk to ERP system, yep, I am involved there too. But its fine, we got it all going on.

Yesterday I was in head office because we had a welcome lunch and I had a bunch of meetings but one got cancelled. Got to see sis-in-law and give her a hug as Friday was her last day for a bit because baby comes on Tuesday. Although I did also lecture my sis-in-law because she was saying she thought she was going into labour the night before but then let it slip, she redid all of her front garden because she couldn't bring the baby home to the front gardens not being done. Both me and bro were telling her, anything you want done this weekend he will do you need to keep her in until Tuesday morning.

I have a million and twelve things I need to do around the house but I am also on call because our production plant is doing inventory this weekend. They uploaded last night, I had 3 calls, after losing the first upload they got it done, so now we will see what today brings. I have already seen some posting so they are there and working away.

I also still have a bunch of testing I have to get done because I got pulled into something else yesterday and did not get my testing done so as much as I don't want to work this weekend for my sanity I might need to because this week I have to train 8ish people on how to use the new programs so my part needs to be done.

Honestly, I would like to sit on my behind and do nothing but that isn't life.

For now, I am just going to finish my cup of tea and see if I get any phone calls.

Good Morning Everyone,
I got nothing done yesterday, well not nothing I got no phone calls but did have 4 emails I had to address during the inventory process and well I was logged in I did complete 5 more tests for the new programming (10ish down, 10ish more to go).

I know I really needed yesterday off but I still feel guilty because I just feel like there is still so much to be done, at home, at work, errands to run, it feels never ending right now.

This morning I unpacked the new glass containers I got from Costco and washed them, they are on the drying rack.

I also unpacked and built the new fan I got for the kitchen.

Now, I am sitting here kind of annoyed, I need to deal with the box but I know it isn't going to fit in the recycling bins but I also don't want to put it in the dumpster. Really who thought 6 bins for 20+ houses with every other week pick up was going to work???? Plus I found out originally we were only supposed to get 4 so they are saying we already got "extra" so we aren't top priority for additional bins which we have requested.

Ok, I guess I need to deal with this box and see what else I can get done today. I know I won't get everything done and this week is going to be busy but I just have to remind myself just a couple more weeks and we will go live and then we go back to only having the "normal" chaos and the testing and all that chaos will stop, until we start working on the next module to release, we have 11 more to decided if we want to use.

Good day! Isn't this weather amazing??!!! Soaking in the sunshine!

Yesterday I went for a drive to Barrie- Was going to go to the 400 market but my sister was away and really wants to go so will wait till they can go.
Stopped at a few stores then headed home and put the few groceries away and then headed to the town dock and did a good walk. Came home and made dinner (Steak, sweet potato and asparagus)

Today after a slow start made coffee and then headed to the next town and parked at their town dock and did a nice walk. Then to the laundromat and tossed in a load of laundry that needed a "HOT" wash (my hoodies and yoga pants!) and went for a 30 min walk to SDM and $ store while washing. Brought it home and it is all hanging to dry now. Made oatmeal with Greek yogurt and a diced apple on top.

Now before I lose my steam I am going to go back out and go to Food basics for more apples and raspberries.

My baby is back on the job site that is 6 hours away starting tomorrow I know it's good for him since he gets lots of hours in/extra pay. He likes it for that but he misses being home and able to golf, pickelball/tennis and gaming on the computer with his friends. I have to be reminded to rein in my grocery shopping since he will only be home on weekends. At least he won't eat all my raspberries this week

I have a tomato plant I still need to plant outside. Should get that done tomorrow morning before the heat of the day.

Off to get more steps in and enjoy the weather...... I realize now how cooped up I was this past winter

I am not ready to give up but it’s been another weekend of not being able to log into SC and given how quiet the thread is I suspect I am not alone.
I was happy to receive a 4% interest offer from Tangerine. I think it was the 1st one in a year. So I moved our slush fund over. It’s not huge interest but it’s a dinner out so I will take it.
