Salvaged a 2-litre jug of milk from my Shell.

Found a life-saver candy in the parking lot. It's package was still intact, so I ate it.

Found another watermelon-flavoured candy in the street. It's integrity was not breached, so I also ate it.

FreshCo had 2x 4-litre jugs of choc milk for $4 each.

    Good Morning Everyone,
The weekend is here but it is go-live weekend so I am on call plus there are a few things I need to look at and update but right now I am curled up on the couch with a cup of tea. Nothing will happen before Tea.

Thursday night after work I did run to No Frills, mainly because we needed milk but well I was there I also grabbed, 3 x peaches, 1 x 4-pack peppers, 1 x 3-pack romaine, 1 x 3-pack garlic, 2 x alfredo sauce and 2 x Chapman Ice Cream bars. Everything was on sale except the garlic but I got pts for the garlic and does garlic go on sale?

Not sure if anyone got that insane storm on Canada, WOW the blew in fast. Lots of trees down in our area and it blew through the local Canada Day celebrations.

Also, we did not get the storm at home but one blew threw at Work yesterday and it was also insane. I was sitting in our boardroom and the noise the storm was making everyone in the office at the same time stopped and basically we all us were like what is happening, but again it was here and gone in 20 minutes. From what I see there was a lot of down tress.

Calling for storms again today, we will see what comes.

I really should go take Mom's car for a drive but it is still warm out and her AC isn't working. She is bugging me again about getting it taken in but with the AC not working and the temps I do not know what to do. There are cooler days and I can drop it off but if they cannot fix the AC in a day that is going to be one HOT drive home for me and it is like a 45 minute drive. I don't know I am still overwhelmed, we are still in the go-live process, I cannot think about this right now, I need to focus on other things.

Time to see where today takes me.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

So far my morning started with an annoying blood number taken at 8 a.m. and it was a 9 !! Like wth?
My last meal was at 7 p.m. on Friday night. Pffft! My usual number is a 6 or 7.
Anyhow, a phone call with my sis shortly after brought my BP down with lots of laughter. I needed that.

I did a STB ( Blue Rewards ) last night at FOUR different places. 3 were through amazon.ca and 1 through
I HERB paying with my linked BOM Blue rewards MC.
I was going to do a $20.00 Dollarama spend today but I only needed 4 to earn 8000 Blue rewards.
They limit the amount to $50 so no point doing another purchase.

    Well, that was fun, NOT.

I was sitting here working away and decided a yogurt bowl sounded good, popped my peanut butter in the microwave and blew a fuse.

Luckily I was able to figure it out but I did have Mom looking for an electrician.

Not going to lie, I did not keep my cool. I was already feeling knocked down so when that happened I had a moment that lasted longer than a moment.

Dinner ended up just being Nachos because after my moment I was spent and still verifying the data for Monday. I have the data verified now I just need to answer all of my boss's emails but that sounds like a task for tomorrow.

Happy Sunday! Beautiful day out. Was suppose to go to the beach but change of plans. Did my morning walk at the lake, checked out the Cruise ship at the dock, walked through the farmers market, walked to No Frills then went to Walmart and another No Frills. 8999 steps in so far!

Yesterday we went to the 400 Flea Market. Not as big as it was last time we went. My sister treated us to Starbucks on the way...And to my niece's delight she got 2 drinks (the barista told me to try the cold latte vs my hot latte and said if I didn't like it he would make me a new one....So that's what happen )
We were going to go to Rib feast for the music but we decided to skip it...too hot and to many people! We will be seeing that band a few times this summer anyway.

Dinner tonight will be chicken (surprise surprise!) sweet potato, mushrooms and a broccoli slaw salad. Tomorrow night will probably be on repeat!

    Have a great day!

Get a load of this the other night friday ,i came home from my son's after visiting my daughter-in-law walked in and the house was hot 82degrees .I said to hubby did you not notice it is hot ,nope .Air conditioner wasnt working ,now it is 6 years old but still.
So i called the local place that put our furnace and air conditioner in ,he said he would be out in an hour (it would be a little bit more due to weekend hrs friday night 8.30 p.m )
Guess what nothing was wrong with the airconditioner ,it was an earwig that fried a conductor -nature honestly. So the part which cost $110 was covered .But the call and labour we had to pay for ,plus he put a new part in that has a small cage around it .So $150 later. We have cool air .

I thought it was a funny storey to tell.lol

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
I am not feeling it today LOL.

I did get out and drive Mom's car but it was starting to get warm. I might see if I can talk Mom into taking it to the local shop instead at least then it will only be a 15 minute ride in the heat vs 45 minutes. I am really hoping after this trip it is good for a bit, I feel like every since I started driving the car more to keep the battery going I have had it in the shop multiple times for little things happening. Mom just says it is to be expected due to it's age. It is hard to trust the car and want to drive it more.

I really should prep today but I don't have it in me, so I made myself a yogurt bowl (no blown fuse, I did not use the microwave), I also made one for tomorrow and I will try to pick something for dinner that will give me leftovers for lunch. I am hoping after go-live tomorrow things will calm down a bit because I am done, mentally, physically, even emotionally I am done.

All I wanted to do last night was sleep, went to bed around 9:30 woke up at 5 am wide awake LOL. It was 7.5 hours but I was hoping for like 9 or 10 hours.

I keep trying to tell myself to get up and get some things done but every time I go to get up, I get an email from our programmer needing something and I do not think my boss is logged in. I think he is on the last thing so hopefully we have fixed all the glitches.

    Happy Sunday Everyone.

    Well....surprise surprise.
PC is useless to my digital coupons problem.Called the custumer service phone it is impossible to talk to a physical person.
Send a message...Got the response we are experiencing a high demand so please be patient...
Before with a missing points inquiry I got my points added in a few hours....Even if it said it can take up to 4 days.
Now sended the e-mail July 2 and still no response only a reference number grrr
I will miss this great deal I guess....
The problem is the digital coupon is 4 time and I want 5 cheeses to benefit my 3000 pc points wub $20 of cheese...grrr
I know I can reload it but such an hassle to make a point inquiry with that after...

    Sorry for the rant...

The deal is at Maxi in QC:

Cracker Barrel cheese slices are on sale for $4,47$ reg: $6,99
minus $1,50 TP minus $1,50 digital coupon
minus 3000 pc points (personnal offer)
    =$1,17 per package
and the BB date is on October

I would like more the $1,50 off x5 than the points because I am short on money right now

@cath007 I am not sure that I understand you correctly. Are you trying to call PCO to see if you can buy 5 cheese and have 5X$1.50 off of the digital coupon . If the limit is 4 there is nothing the would do for you . You can buy the cheese and put in an inquiry for 6000 points which is for 4X$1.50.

I just did my groceries at RCSS and the digital $1.50 for CB cheese did not come off. I bought the 4 package and put in an inquiry for the 6000 points. I know it’s frustrating but it take a few days to get credited with the points some times .

I had and inquiry that took a month because a specialist had to add my 12000 points .

You would not reach $20 even if you buy 5 package . The digital coupon does not work like a manufacturing coupon. The total price of the cheese would be after you subtract the digital coupon

The digital coupon is re loadable.
Oh no I was not aware that a digital coupon dont count as a manufacturer coupon the same manner..
Wow...if the digital coupon did not come off for you too theyre really a problem with their system....

It’s not coming off for no one that buys Slice cheese . Not No Frills or RCSS that I know of . A family friend bought Shredded and it worked . There is so many different varieties of the Slice cheese I guess not all the bar code is entered. I will let you know if I get my points and when

NoFrills had 3x 427g tubs of Becel for $0.24 each. Also got some goat cheese for $0.44 I've never tried it, so no better time than when it's so cheap.

Rescued a 410g package of sliced cheese from the dump.

Found a computer mouse on the ground. I can use it. Goodness knows how it got dropped.
