    Good Afternoon Everyone,
UGH, I did not sleep well last night at all, not sure why but I am so tired today but we are pushing through.

Yesterday afternoon even with the windows closed you could smell the wildfire smoke in the house. Today the glow is gone but they are saying the air quality if horrible so staying in today.

I did want to run to Food Basics, they have a few good sales but will wait.

Not sure if the was the Wildfire Smoke, the Grass Pollen or just the fact that they are my sinuses but, wow they were not happy last night and still a little unhappy today.

Dinner has been struggle again, I am just so tired by dinner time and then last night I had horrible heartburn so nothing was appealing. Thinking I might just bake sausages tonight with potatoes and veggies but we will see.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

Best news ever wrt hubby's surgery! You must feel relief @lizzie bargain
I did anther frugal WM online shop early this morning and with this free delivery trial it's pretty awesome!
Saved money from flyer sales, saved my lungs from breathing in the bad air and saved me lugging a new
case of water home as well as the other groceries.
The cold stuff was very cold, the estimated time was between 1-3, so I was impressed that it arrived just
minutes after 1 p.m.! I'll be sad when the free delivery trial ends.

Today is just an UGH day, I am fighting to stay awake, the sinuses aren't happy, the math for work isn't mathing.

I saw next Wednesday is supposed to be 20 degrees and I need to go to head office so I had Mom try to book her car in for service, they cannot take it until next Friday when it is going to 28 degrees. No thank you, I do not want to drive the car with no AC in 28 degree weather especially since I am pretty sure I won't be able to get the AC fixed. Normally when we call them we can get in, in the next couple of days.

But now Mom keeps telling me if I don't get the car fixed I have to stop driving, I am going driving so the battery doesn't die because I am getting embarrassed by the number of times we have to call CAA to boost it. Pretty sure all CAA driver now know me, not just my Uncle's best friend's brother.

So now she wants to take it to the local place, only thing is to take it there we have to drop it off and leave it which means she will need to go with me. She said she can do it, I hope she can because this weather kills her.

I know it is because I am overtired and work is frustrating me today (because I am tired) but I am just feeling a little defeated, because it seems like every time I try to plan something happens and the things I need to do keep piling up (car needs to be driven so battery doesn't die, car needs to be serviced, also think car needs gas, I need to do the local shopping, I need to go to Costco, I need a break), I need a few cooler days with better air quality to try to knock this stuff out which I think this weekend cools down. But I also just need a break. Wonder if I can extend the August long weekend?????

Time to make dinner, what dinner will be, I have no idea time to go dig in a freezer and see what I find (we do have lots, I just don't have the ambition to cook and clean up).

My husband is home and already walking unaided-quite remarkable really. He says he is in less pain now than when he went in this morning. Of course tomorrow may be a bit worse. He has an ice pack in his shorts pocket as he is bruised and swollen. He has the incision on the front of the hip which allows a faster recovery. I think he preferred the spinal over the general anesthetic he had last time. Once he got home he wanted food and coffee and is happily sitting in front of his computer catching up on the day. A kind friend is having coffee and treats delivered in awhile. Worth every penny to see him more comfortable.

    TGIF!!!

Finished up a work thing yesterday at the end of the day and sent it off being hopeful I had an answer in my email this morning and I did and all is good!
So happy to have that done and out of the way so now I just have one thing to concentrate on today.
Enjoying my coffee now but then I am getting dressed and going for my morning break/walk. Missed it the past few days and I know it is still bad out but I need to go.

After chicken for dinner the past 3 nights I think it is ok to have lean ground beef for dinner so burger bowl for dinner it is! Need burger buns for the guys so will pick those up at some point today.

Pool party tomorrow for BIL's birthday....of course risk of thunderstorms! At least they have a nice outside covered area that everyone can hang out in.
Maybe we can finish our very close card came from Monday that we kept the stats for to finish at a later date (BIL had an appt to run out to)

Will be happy when my baby is home from work later today (he is up North 6 hours away from us). Once the door cam goes off and I see his little face I can relax

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Oh so glad to hear about your hubby lizzie .Think of all the good times he has missed out on due to his hip .I cant wait for next summer being able to walk like everyone else ,travel a bit with hubby ,enjoy my grandkids more.

I tried playing ball toss last week with Cara with the dollar store toy i bought ,i cant even run to catch the ball half the time .After sitting in the restaurant last night for an hour and a half i can hardly walk when i get up .

    Very hard day.
My dear Mother god bless her died this day on 2007.
I am still very sad about that.
Life was so much better and easy when she was alive.
I was only 22 years old when I lost her...

    Good Morning Everyone,
Was feeling very overwhelmed yesterday, I still don't have the answers but today is a new day.

I have said it before, living with a parent who has health challenges is a challenge. I get she wants to feel some sort of control but it is extremely trying when you are just trying to figure out how you are going to make it all work within your own schedule and your the one who has to do it all.

I know we are still under an air quality warning but I see it is now under 100 (although not sure what normal is) but I think I need to get out of the house so on my lunch I will run to the store. I am sure a few of the sales will already be sold out but I will see what I can get.

Still need to figure out Costco but that might be a challenge for another day but I need to go before Sunday (nothing like a time crunch).

Going to see how much work I can knock out today, lots of little things I need to tackle.

    Happy Friday Everyone.
