Walk done! Buns purchased (and picked up some English muffins and another 2.5lb bag of apples) No Greek yogurt . Good thing I bought a back up the other day to have on hand incase they were still out.
Air was thick...glad I went when I did. I plan on getting another walk in later today.

    Cath I pm'd you.

Thought I was such a smart cookie, left the house early to fill up the gas tank as I knew it would have been low after the guys working yesterday.
I was fooled! DH had pumped in 40 L on the way home! Noticed the gas gauge shot up to full, then found the receipt in the glove box.
Since I was all showered and dressed figured I'd deposit a cheque in the ATM, then hit Metro and Freshco which are sort of nearby.

Scored 500 Moi points on 4 bags of Sun Chips, they were on sale for $2.99 ea. and 125 points on each bag. Now I will allow DS
to have some of my favourite chips, lol. before they were hands off to him.
Bought 2 trays of baby beef liver ( just for ME! ), one of the least expensive proteins you can get! Well, IF you like liver I mean.
Earned 35 points on both milk and Oikos yogurt.

Then at FreshCo for an OOP close to $60.00 I did o.k. I loved the 500 Scene points given for spending a minimum of $50.00.
Plus little Scene point earns from Macaroni Salad, Deli cheese slices and meats, all Compliments brands. 40 points on a single
bunch of green onions since I already used up most of the other one I bought. FreshCo price is .99 for them, loving that.
    Redeemed $10.00 too.

This Air Quality thing has caused some ill feelings from those in the USA. They are pissed that the smoke is drifting into New Jersey
and I think that Sunday's FIFA final for Gold is going to be impacted. Oh brother I hope Trump doesn't invade us over that! ha ha

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
I needed to walk away from my computer. I could not focus, so trying to push through wasn't working.

I did not have a lot of hope, but decided to go to Food Basics, as that was my longest list, and went in being realistic. To my surprise, I got everything but the pasta sauce, that was sold out. So I got 2 x Ground Beef (they were restocking when I walked in, yay!!!!!!!), 1 x broccoli, 3 x Roma Tomatoes, 1 x Lime 2lbs, 1 x Grapes, 4 x Pasta, 2 x Rye Bread, 3 x Tortillas.

Really focusing on things I could use for dinners this week so thinking Beef and Broccoli with Broccoli, Club House Sandwiches with the Tomatoes, will use some of the Beef for Big Mac Salads.

Kind of wishing it wasn't a work day, there is a bit of a breeze and I wouldn't want to do anything too strenuous but it seems okay right now but it is a work day so back to work I had to go.

I finished my last project and sent it off so I popped out to Walmart/No Frills for a bit of walk.

Found clearance almond milk $1.73 (on sale $3.47 expiry end of August) because the container was a bit crushed. $11.44 for ground beef reg $19 something.
Making meatballs (for freezer/future meal) and burger patties (for guys dinner tonight) with the beef. (I already cooked up my ground beef for dinner this morning!)
No Frills- found my Greek yogurt. and 2 x rice crackers for the road trip

I never made it to NF after doing Metro and FreshCo this morning but Saturday I can go.
At FreshCo I had such a lovely, easy going shop, lots of parking spaces in the lot.
Then when I came out, finished loading my stuff, I placed the cart at the back of my vehicle
making sure it was lodged into a groove so it doesn't run away.

This woman gets out of her vehicle and says " are you just going to leave it there? "
I thought she wanted a free cart but then I saw her scowl face and I said " yes, I cannot manage
to return them as I'm in constant back pain and my balance is not great "

Not sure she even heard what I said, then she huffed, grabbed the cart aggressively and rammed it into
the other carts up at the store entrance. So I guess she doesn't buy enough to need a cart?
I applauded her sarcastically and yelled out " hey honey! we were all 30 years old once, just you wait! "

Why do people mind other people's business? She could have done her holier than thou cart return mission
without making a fellow shopper feel bad.

Today I went to the local pet rescue as they had 50% off everything. I did well, I only spent $3.50 meanwhile my friend spent $20 but she works so she can afford it.

Glad the smoke is clearing up but I can't believe or should I say, I'm not surprised that Trump is threatening us with more tariffs over the wildfires. What an idiot.

My vehicle got hit in the parking lot last week and I'm so glad the driver stuck around to tell me. We are going through insurance, and while I'm not thrilled, I'm glad no one is inquired and she admitted fault. It looks like 8 days of a rental when the parts come in. My insurance company CAA is great, very nice to deal with. No increase in policy for me.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying cool and safe from the wildfire smoke.

Decided to run out to No Frills to grab a couple of things there but realized I did not grab milk at either Food Basics or No Frills, we do have a full bag left so should be okay.

    I got 2 x Mushrooms, 1 x Cucumbers (6-pack), 1 x Blueberries (PM Freshco), 2 x Peameal, & 1 x Whole Wheat Bread.

They had everything I was looking for except the Chapman Ice Cream bars and I did get the last package of blueberries.

I did think about going to Costco but it was getting warmer and the air quality is going down so instead just decided to make dinner.

Keep it simple made Pasta with Meat Sauce as we had an open jar of Tomato Sauce in the fridge. Also did not want to deal with the Ground Beed yet so I grabbed a pack from freezer. Added Mushrooms and Onions for some veggie goodness.

I was hoping maybe I could get to Costco tomorrow but now they show the rain starting at 7 am so we shall see what tomorrow brings.

    Good Afternoon,
Woke up around 6 this morning, and the first thing I did was check my phone. Could I make it to Costco before the rain, nope. Rain had already started, and the air quality wasn't good either.

Lounged in bed for awhile and then got up and had a slow morning. I kept checking my phone to see when the rain would stop and what the air quality was.

I did force myself to o clean the bathroom so I got something done today.

The rain stopped my phone showed no more rain, there was a nice breeze out and were back in the yellow for air quantity so off I went. FYI the weather lied, when I left it was 23 supposedly our high when I got home it was 28, got the first load in the house and it started pouring so I hung out in my car but luckily it was short lived. But I got the shopping down.

It actually wasn't as bad as it could have been, I put my head down got what we needed and got out. I think the part that was getting me was there were things that I needed for Mom that were only sale until tomorrow and that was bothering me. I swear if it was something for me I could have blown it off but since it was for Mom, I start spinning hard. Although let's be real I did get myself a few treats once I was there.

There were a few things I left behind in the produce section because they came from the US, and I don't know now that they are saying it came from Mexico but was processed in the US are we avoiding Mexican produce too????? Really the only thing I left was the celery and Kale Salad but the Kale Salad wasn't really a need it was more for convince. Good news is I got Canadian Romaine locally so I can make Salads.

Stocked up on Feta, Ricotta, Parmesan, Cheddar, Chicken Bites, Beef Dumplings, Frozen Mixed Veggies (loving having these huge bags from Costco on hand), Naan, Cesar Dressing, Pesto, Toilet Paper, both bathroom and baby wipes, Yogurt, Granola Bars (Mom has learned she also likes and there weren't any when I went to restock my work bag, I like to have them as an emergency snack and is better than me grabbing fast food), Batteries.

On sales was the Toilet Paper, Bathroom Wipes, Croissants, Doritos, Beef Dumplings.

I am going to make Chocolate Croissants again and will drop half off to Bro & Sis-In-Law, it is something they can heat up when baby needs them. Plus they are not that stage where everyone thinks they should have it figure it out even though baby has no routine.

I did forget a couple things, I wanted to grab some fresh mozzarella, and look at the garbage can they have for $99.

Now, now I need to figure out dinner. We are restocking on everything but cooking seems like a lot of work.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

Recovered a fruit roll, abandoned by a bum on the road.

Found a shovel left in the park on the way home. Added it to my ever-growing collection.
