The garden is starting to produce. It’s a small garden but it’s still nice to have fresh stuff. Today I spiralized zucchini and mixed it with pasta. It’s a great way to use the zucchini. I also dropped some off to my brother.

Yesterday hubs and I were driving up by Jasper and a tiny black bear ran out-I had to slam on the brakes and swerve to the right while he ran back to the left. Luckily he lived to see another day-he seemed way too small to be alone but no signs of a mother. Today we saw another bear and he just posed at the side of the road for pics. Probably older and wiser! Or maybe he heard we were coming!
Currently we are in Salmon Arm with AQI of 11-headed to Nelson tomorrow to see friends and the air is worse there. Might not be good when we get home either.

Read this 3 bear rule online today
    If its brown lay down
    If its black fight back
    If its white good night!

Next week i have preop and a phone call one day plus i have to get the pharmacy to fax my meds to a number .

My anxiety is up there.PLus this my charts i cant access on our phone as it states its on another device (my notebook) .My daughter wants us to visit her this weekend and i would love to ,just so many thin gs on my mind that i have to do .I guess cause i already had this done i am suppose to remember everything.Uggggg
First of all @coupon girl . Your upcoming knee operation understandably has you on edge.
It takes time to get all the prep done and making a separate trip now for the x-rays is frustrating.
Hope you get to see DD and Sebastian on the weekend.

I got an email today wrt my upcoming MRI, they said there was an appointment change!
    What a joke,
it was a 10 minute change, meaning I show up 10 minutes later than previously scheduled.
THEN right after that I get an email from My Charts about an important update? I hardly go on that
site so I figured it must be important. Nope, it was the same message about the 10 minute MRI time
    change....ha ha
This MRI is kind of pointless now because it was ordered by the ENT specialist in May when she was still
trying to find out about my hearing loss. A moot point now since I got my hearing aid. I'll still go though,
ya never know what they'll find up there in my head! lol.

    TGIF!!!
Looks like rain starts later this afternoon so will make sure to take a break this morning and go for a walk around the lake. I need it! Haven't been that way all week and I miss it.

Dinner tonight is leftovers from last night so no thinking/cooking!

Would like to go kayaking tomorrow morning but it looks like a rainy day but Sunday looks great so will plan to go then. Will go to the small lake that takes a few hours to paddle around.....it's very nice and peaceful especially on the other side away from the park.

Time to put on my runners and get some steps in!

    Have a wonderful day/weekend!

    Good Morning Everyone,
It hasn't been a bad week but it has been a long week, so ready for the weekend, which is sad because I just had 5 days off.

We found a huge error in our system so I spent most of yesterday and some of today fixing that. I worked late to try to get it done but around 8 all the numbers started to look the same.

Because I worked late last night I did not get a chance to run out last night. So I ran out this morning before town got busy (there is a large event in town this weekend that is off the main road that is closed to it is insanity out there).

I put gas in Mom's car and ran to No Frills and got Sour Cream, Fries & Blueberries.

Finding it hard to find Berries that are not product of USA and I cannot keep up, can you eat them, are we avoiding them, who knows so better to be safe.

    Happy Friday Everyone.

Too hot to cook today so I picked up the chicken meal deal from Sobeys. It also put me over 100.00 with my groceries so I got another 5 cents off a litre coupon. We need gas for the lawn tractor so put the balance of 75 litres in the truck. I also noticed as I logged into easy pay there was an opt in offer of 500 Scene points. So I immediately opted in and they are already showing on my account.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Well yesterday did not go as planned.

I got up and honestly, I did not want to do anything but I knew I needed to get things done so I started the laundry, cleaned the kitchen (I really should have run the dishwasher Thursday but we are late and then I totally forgot on Friday and we ate even later) and I just had stuff all over the place.

I was trying to decide what to do next and decided to flip the laundry and have some breakfast. I went into my laundry room and stepped in a puddle. First thought, crap the washing machine, nope that isn't where the water is coming from. Oh crap the freezer, nope again water isn't coming from that direction.

I flip the laundry and start moving stuff, I finally got the water cleaned up but where it was wet is there no water source. I even checked the walls and ceiling to see do we have a leak nope. So I will watch that but I am at a loss.

We did rain yesterday morning in between loads and really rained again in afternoon, more than we got in the morning, went and checked and nope, nothing so I have no idea.

After taking a shower because I felt like I was covered in Spiderwebs, I spent the afternoon helping Mom prep and grill veggies. It took afternoon but get got it done.

Can I just say I hate electric griddles, that thing was impossible to clean, literally scrubbed it for almost an hour. It will be awhile before we grill veggies again LOL.

I really should get some prepping done today but so far I lack ambition. So I am going to sit on the couch with a cup of tea and see where the day takes me

    Happy Sunday Everyone.

Happy Sunday! We have sunshine! And another hot day ahead of us.

I was able to get out yesterday morning for a walk and then made my breakfast and brought it to the lake. After spilling it all over myself I enjoyed it sitting in a camping chair. The thunder was brewing in the distance for a long time. Finally decided to move my chair back to the car and then was going to go for another walk but then the rain drops started and the storm came in quickly! It was a rainy hot day!

This morning did my usual Sunday walk. My usual walk on the other side of the lake. Then switched my coffee mug for my water and walked all the town docks/to the farmers market and then up the street to No Frills then back down to the car.
Just enjoyed my oatmeal with Greek yogurt/apple/raspberries/blueberries.
Took chicken out of the freezer so that will be the main event with a few sides. Happy to say the Zucchini lasagna slop was finished last night-I made cabbage and fresh mushrooms on the side and it tasted even better last night!
The guys lasagna made with ground pork was polished off so I am happy about that. Lot of things used up from the freezer for that meal and still was pretty cheap and did us a few nights. (I had 3 dinners from the 1Lb beef- one night just the beef with sides) Really probably around $10 total and most was the meat ($1 ground pork and $4.40 ground beef)

    Have a great day!

Afternoon got in at 10.30 this morning from toronto only took 70 minutes ,already did a load of laundry .
I loved getting away to toronto i walked to the market in a park with my daughter and sebastian rode his scooter ,it was the most i have walked in ages but i had my cane to lean on uphill .I paid for the corn $10 for our supper and a small basket of peaches for me $5.00.My daughter bought fancy popsicles i had lemonade ,lavender oh so good on a hot day .

First night she ordered pi-co pizza ,sat night she made a wonderfull chicken pieces bone in ,mashed potatoes and fresh corn .Then my hubby and daughter and Sebastian went to the taste of the danforth (i couldnt walk it 30 minutes there and back ) too crowded they said .I just showered watched prime and did laundry for my daughter.

Good to be home ,the ride there was 2 hours long friday afternoon ,unbelieveable the traffic.

Just curious how you always know it is bums abandoning everything? I am not even sure how one defines a bum-maybe a homeless person?
