Good Afternoon Everyone,
I was in the plant today for a meeting and I went in early to work with our Plant Manager to go over some numbers.
The plan was to stop for a few groceries and run into Costco for Paper Plates and maybe Bowls but my meeting went late so I had to rush out to get home in time for my next meeting. But, GRRR, I mentioned the meeting to my boss as he was there as well and he said we will see what they have to say and then I get home to an email where he cancelled the meeting so I could have stopped. Oh well, I wasn't going back.
Going to go through the flyers and see if there is I want to pick up before the weekend.
Still need to figure out dinner, I made Enchilada Casserole last night tonight I have no idea. Honestly, I just want a nap, I have had a headache all afternoon and it is making me very sleepy.
Happy Wednesday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

It turned out that the error code on my printer is nothing too serious .
I searched the code on the HP website and it's says not the good size of paper or too much paper.
At the last time my other printer said that also.
Size of paper is standard.....
Weird I know....
I will try to figure this out or continue to reset my printer grr...Last edited by cath007; Wed, Aug 19th, 2026 at 07:51 PM.

@cath007 , as someone who spends a lot of time dealing Printers, are the guides on your printer set correctly? If they are not that could be producing the error. Even if you select normal paper if the guides are off it confuses the printer.

Happy Thursday!
I popped out afterwork yesterday to No Frills to pick up a 4lb bag of apples $5.99, Greek yogurt $7, 10Lb bag of potatoes $1.99.
Not an urgent need as I could have went without apples for a few days and we had lots of the others 2 items but just wanted to be a little stocked up. And I really like an apple on my oatmeal each morning!
I will not buy frozen French fries anymore since it takes 30 seconds to cut up a potato into French fry wedges and toss in the air fryer.
There is always a deal of some sort on potatoes and if not the flash food boxes usually have some.
Finally tossed a load of laundry in the washer this morning. I will hang it up to dry once it is done. Then I will give the kitchen a quick clean up and then decide the dinner plan. Thinking Greek chicken with potatoes and green beans sounds good! (Will add a piece of garlic bread (freezer) to the whoever would like it)
I made an online order for a bunch of t-shirts/and 2 long sleeve dressy tops since I really needed them and haven't bought any in years... I actually like all of them...that never happens! I also have opened 2 boxes of new runners (I had for awhile) the one pair really need to be worked in so will wear them around the house. My runners I was wearing needed to be replaced anyway but when we were away last week my niece wanted to use the treadmill at the hotel gym and she only had crocs so she wore my shoes and her feet are bigger then mine so she stretched them out...just forced me to start using a new pair! All good!
Have a great day!Last edited by Frugalbigmama; Thu, Aug 20th, 2026 at 10:22 AM.

Just a top up at the gas pump and then over to NF. I shopped at just the one store, making the decision NOT to
drive here and there to save a few cents or to earn points. What made it easier was that my Moi offers were ZERO!
In other words the ones that were offered were products I don't need, use or can buy somewhere else cheaper.
I stocked up on ( 3) Coke Zero, ( 1) regular Coke and (1) Canada Dry Ginger Ale. These 6 x 710 ml bottles are on
right now for $2.99 . Regular price is a comical $6.00, and I'm too busy laughing and walking away at that price.
I know, Pop is the worst for us, which is why I limit myself to a single bottle every 3rd day or so.
Now I'm taking in the Blue Jays game!! We're up 1-0 in the top of the 3rd!

I cannot remember what pop it was, but everyone was excited that Costco was carrying it, and I thought, oh, maybe I will grab that as a treat. Granted, Costco's cases are 32 cans, but it was like $14.99, and all I could think was back when I drank pop, we were only allowed to buy it when it was $1.99 for a 12-pack.
Now, for me, ordering a Ginger Ale when we are out is a treat; once in a blue moon, I will grab the 1L from Dollarama for a Pizza night.
Although this summer I did treat myself to 4 cases of PC Flavour Water they were $5.75 for the 12 pack but I got $1.50 back in points, I treat myself sparingly. I don't even average 1 a week LOL.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I did not feel my best when I woke up this morning but luckily although I needed to go into the branch I did not set a time to go in. So, even though it was a work morning, I had a bit of a slow start. Came down in PJs which I never do, did a few catch up/data entry didn't take a lot of focus tasks well I had some tea and food. I did consider moving my branch visit to tomorrow but since I felt better I went in.
I took Mom's car to give it a drive so I don't have to take it out over the weekend.
I was going to stop at No Frills on the way home but honestly, I didn't fee like it. I knew I had a lot to do so I just came home.
Tomorrow I do plan to run to Canadian Tire as the laundry basket I have been eyeing goes on sale so I will probably grab groceries when I go out.
I have spent all afternoon working on something that isn't working which is frustrating but doing finish up with some Data entry and call it a day.

I had a scene issue again. It can’t seem to handle me switching locations. I put the request in at 10 pm last night and 15 minutes later they emailed me to approve. It was 1675 points so I am happy for that. On the drive home we had an offer for 10 cents off at Ultramar so we were happy to take advantage of that.
I went to Costco today for the 1st time in months and I am so annoyed that the world is on a protein kick. I actually like cottage cheese and everyone is out. It’s my favourite summer breakfast. Especially with blueberries.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Happy Friday!! Today is the day to get out and enjoy the sunshine because the forecast for my area shows rain Saturday and Sunday!
Which is ok because we really need to get stuff done around the house so I am happy with that! Still can play in the garage when it is raining out
Our fridge is looking good and empty but yet we still have lots to eat... Leftover chicken from last night will be the plan for dinner tonight so will either make sides to go with it or a wrap or a big salad with chicken! Regardless dinner will be had and everyone happy!
Enjoying my coffee then I will have a quick shower, get dressed and put on my runners so I can get some stuff done. For a brief moment yesterday I was thinking it was Friday so I am feeling a little off....but in theory I have gained an extra day so now to get stuff done!
Have a wonderful weekend!
