Afternoon had the grown kids drop in sat afternoon with the granddkids.we had a lovely bbq.
Daughter bought me flowers for my surgery and a gift card for my birthday for swiss chalet.

The girls slept over ,which was nice.When they went home at 1.00 i slept from 1.30 til 4.00 .Supper tonight leftovers chicken breast in a wrap .

A day of closure.

Finally dropped down to my beach/swimwear/summer weight. End of September. It seems to take longer every year.

Finished all my corn and completed all the necessary house repairs and painting.

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Monday, although to be honest, it is another week of where did the weekend go? I swear they go by so fast each week.

Yesterday I ended up tackling some of the weekly tasks around the house instead of the basement.

I emptied the fridge and gave it a good wipe down, at some point I do need to deep clean it but that was not a job for this weekend. I was shocking once I organized the fridge how much room we have, it feels so empty now.

I emptied garbage and recycling, anytime there is room in the bins you gotta take advantage and even though our bin was not full it would not fit another 2 weeks of recycling.

Since there was room I broke down the huge box the new garbage can came in and got that out which was great, I thought I was going to have to bring it to work or take it to the dump to get rid of it.

I also did the produce prep for the week, not a lot just Romaine, Cucumbers and Celery.

I was hoping Mom would help with the basement as there are 4 bins I need her to sort to get them out of my way but yesterday was not the day.

Not quite sure how many in office days I will end up with this week but my plan is on my work from home days to try to spend my lunch in the basement. But, I also know this is going to be tricky as everything I seem to come across is not mine so I cannot make the decision on stay or go and Mom's pile just keeps getting bigger.

Not sure if it is a good sign or all will change when she actually comes down the basement but we had a discussion on one of the shelving units that will move into the L which is full of her baking stuff. At one point she was going to open her own baking business and sell it at the local markets (never happened, but the shopping to do it did happen) and she is right now (like I said we will see if it changes when she comes down the basement) willing to get rid of some of the specialty pans we won't use in day to day baking.

What can I say, I am all about trying to making more room on the shelves right now so the stuff that is staying has a home.

Technically vacation officially starts tomorrow but unofficially I’ve been off since Saturday. So Dh finally forced me to take a week long vacation from work all together. Every other time I’ve been off I’ve always still worked a few days but this time I’m off 100%. I guess 1 week in a year isn’t too much to take. Oh the joys of being self employed .

Today we did some laundry and then mom and dad wanted to take us out to lunch so we had a fantastic time and now we don’t need dinner!

Then off to physio ( yup, another issue due to perimenopause/ menopause whatever I’m in). At least I did it early so I didn’t try to fix it myself. This second appointment went even better.

So a total no spend day ( as was yesterday). We are planning a trip to get my hair done and some fun spending for us since we’re only doing a staycation due to family health reasons.

The phones are on Do Not Disturb and it’s full on family/relaxation time.

Found some clearance deals on laundry stuff at superstore. I was surprised anything was left because usually as soon as the word is out it gets cleared. I don’t use much store brand laundry product but one of my sons likes the laundry sheets. They were half price and there was an offer on checkout 51 so I got 64 loads for less than 4.00. It’s nice to help them out and it break the bank.

Morning last day of physio.
Its my birthday today 67 wow i am getting up there ! Plus my anniversary of 47 yrs .
Cant wait to go out with hubby for a nice dinner tonight ,my giftcard will pay for half the meal .

Good Morning Everyone,
I was in the plant yesterday morning so I stopped and grabbed some groceries on my way home.

I am working on stocking up on some stuff, just incase. The oddest thing stress me out as we know and constant everything is going up, there could be shortages, it will take 2 years for the world to recover from what the Orange Man has done has me spinning a bit.

First up was RCSS where I grabbed:
1 x Bread for Mom
2 x Tortillas
1 x Pepperoni
2 x Sugar
I wanted to get the Pepperoni for the Freezer, this pack last us months and figured since I was there extra Sugar is never a bad thing.

Then I went to Costco to grab another Toilet Paper (they say there will be a shortage in the US due to the pulp, which should not affect Canada as the issue is the US is getting it from Canada but itis now has a Tariff but I figured better to just be safe)
I grabbed another Shampoo and Conditioner (these Costco size ones last months and they are on sale right now for $9.99 and won't go bad).
I start spinning well in Costco so I just came home as I kept thinking of other things maybe I should grab so I just left. Although I will be going back as the cheese grater I bought last year is back and on sale so I want to buy a back up.

I was supposed to go to WalMart and Zehrs as well but once the spinning started I was done so I will have to do these today or tomorrow.

I want to stock up but also know we need to store a lot of this in the basement so what I am thinking is I might extend Thanksgiving weekend so:
A) I can put the house back in order as I will need to move a lot to get the basement done
B) Go with a plan and stock up on non-perishable items but go with a true plan

Between work, the house, Mom, and just everything, I think I need to sit down write a plan and try to get it all out of my brain because I am that person that just spins.

But with that being said, I need to focus on some work things.
