I was hoping that being retired would make me enjoy having more time to do it, but really all it has done is make me resent looking at it all day!! lol!! The mess never goes away!

Not today, but in the last 2 weeks I learned:
- that staring at the ground for long periods of time is literally a pain in the neck (part of the recovery process after eye surgery)
- that lying on one's side for long periods of time causes earaches (part of the recovery process after eye surgery)
- that when nurses don't have scrap paper available, they like to doodle on patients (took the better part of a week to get the marker off my skin)

Looks can be deceiving especially with people. I dropped some money and someone I judged falsely beckoned me and returned it.

Today I learned it's Patty Sm(eye)th not smith.
Dumb me.
I shoulda known too, since I grew up listening to Dick Smyth on the radio and watching him on tv.I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.
