I had a similar experience around price today too at walmart - shawn location....

I have been reading posts about rcss and using both a coupon zone and a manufacturers coupon. HAs anyone been able to do this in Calgary?

I had no problem doing this at Deerfoot Meadows. I bought the 20's of the advil nighttime.. $8.99 +$4.00 coupon zone +$4.00 manufacture coupon = 99 cents! I did, however, go through self checkout and had my kid hand the cashier all the coupons, but she didn't seem to have a problem with it

No-Frills stores take both - the Store one "coupon zone" will scan right in their till ( like a upc on a product ) and automatically come off the price, then they have to enter the other one manually regular manufacture coupons. Same for Superstore - lots of cashiers still dont know they have to be scanned at no-frills..... Ive had to tell a few of them how to... but have been doing it lots.

I was given a TON of the Iams coupons from brandsaver today. They expire May 31st and I won't be using them. Would anyone like them?

I have done this at the Heritage Meadows and 130 Ave stores with no problem at all. Both times it was the Dove coupon zone & printables.

Where is there a no frills in calgary?

There isn't one yet. Closest is Airdrie or Okotoks but I saw a sign advertising for a No Frills job fair in Calgary so hoping one is coming soon. I emailed their head office and asked so hopefully will have an answer in a day or two.

walmart in airdrie has been tough... might be working right now but the couponers there have been having trouble

I have never had a single problem with Airdrie WM. Other than LD it is by far my fave place to coupon. I seem to get a different CS everytime yet still they all seem to be very helpful and have never questioned my coupons even printables. I was there yesterday and purchased a few things including the sunlight dish soap (to PM from SDM). As soon as I unloaded my cart and took out my SDM flyer the CS perked up and said "Do you want to Price Match and item?" She sounded like she was excited about PM'ing for me.

I have done this for a long time, I have done in at the Heritage Meadows store, and the store on 36 st NE, and I never have any trouble.

I second walmart airdrie. I just bragged about it last week because I was so impressed. They were excited about coupons and got a scop without asking. I am starting to think I should go airdrie once a week and doing a trip to no frills and walmart.

Where is there a no frills in calgary?

I'm in Strathmore - we have one here, last week I scored some mega deals!!! Black Diamond Cheese Strings ( 16 pack ) are regular $7 - they had them on sale for $3 - I used my Manufacture coupon for $.75 off , along with a coupon zone one for another $.75 off - making them $1.50 a package!!! PLUS they had coupons inside!!! YAYYY!! They also had Black diamond cheese slices on for $3 ( 24 slices ) and again I used both making them $1.50 a package as well!! I bought LOADS!! lol!!

On another note, went to Calgary today, London Drugs in Sunridge -ended up with the most amazing cashier at customer service ( Denise I think her name was ) and got $130 of items before coupons - and under $20 for it all after!!! WINNING!! lol!!

i am so glad to hear stuff is better at airdrie walmart... i would love to go there ... a while ago a SC'r left in tears and there were a bunch of others that had the problem too. I was waiting it out because the store is so huge and has great discount items i really wanted to go there. thank you for the info ladies!
