I have been married for seven years this October but I thought some brides to be would like to know what I did for our wedding chocolates.I was working in a retail store and they had a demo at Christmas time for Lindor. We love Lindor balls so I asked the manager if he could ask the rep. for a demo box, I thought it would be cheaper than buying them off the shelf. The rep. was so happy that I was interested and gave us a demo box of 300 red Lindor balls and a single collection for our honeymoon!! She didn't charge us a thing because she said our wedding would be like a demo and she didn't have to pay someone to hand out the chocolates!!I was shocked!! So brides to be if there is something you want ,and you know someone to ask a rep, ask all they can say is no or yes in our case!!

How very lucky you were CCMP....they were very generous....that just goes to show you - If you don't ask (nicely) then you'll never find out - they can only say no

Cool. Just like today the Uncle Bens rep was in the store and I needed help from the staff she was talking to. Later on my way out I saw her and asked if she had any coupons. Her eyes lit up and she said "yes so did" She gave me a FPC for the uncle bens entree and a cat treat coupon.

OMG what an idea - One day I met the Febreze rep at Walmart and started talking to her about the coupons and websites, etc. (after I had her climb a ladder looking for the Glade $5 rebate candles) About an hour later I saw her at Zellers and at Sobeys about a week after. She laughs everytime she sees me because of the deals I found. I think she probably would have offered me a coupon if she had any but the next time I see her I will ask.

Here is what we did when we got married as our give aways. I got married 7 years ago and my husband and I wanted to give people something that they would keep and didn't cost too much. My family loves gardening so we bought 4 inch african violets when they went on sale at a local greenhouse for $1.49 and put them in a small terra cotta pots i got at micheal's for $0.50 each. I wrote our names and wedding date on the ridge of the pot with terra cotta permanent markers. I used them as center pieces with a larger flowering plant in the middle and alternated the small plants and tea lights around it. I still go to people's homes and they have the plant in our original pots
I love that they still do after 7 years.
