Does anyone know when the new WalMart is opening on the West side? Does anyone know what sales might be on when it opens?

Angela -- I thought it didn't open until summer. There probably will be an extra special flyer to watch out for. I don't usually get the Walmart one in my area of the city. Maybe somebody can let us know when they get it and what the deals are.

Well, that's really odd then. The guy from WM was on CKOM radio yesterday saying it opened today.

What will be the largest Walmart in Saskatchewan is set to open Friday morning at 7 a.m. in Saskatoon.
Co-manager Cram Knapton-Pain says the Supercentre in Blairmore will be 176,000 square feet of almost everything a shopper could want.
"Its going to have a full grocery area, bakery, produce, meat, a deli, a vision centre, Tim Hortons, McDonalds," Knapton-Pain said.
He says the Supercentre is a "prototype" and will be the first of its kind in Canada.
As the new store prepares to open, another prepares to close.
On Thursday, shoppers picked through the remaining inventory at the Walmart in Confederation Mall. Many shelves sat bare. The store will close Thursday at 5 p.m.

I just seen the news it's open today,the grand opening is on the 27th.
