Wow, did you hear my big "AW........!!"? They are adorable! Congrats!(?)
So, they turn from yellow with the dark patch to white? (sorry, says the stupid city girl...)
My husband (farm dude) once picked up a goose at a zoo (gosh the wings are huge!) and MADE me touch it. I was so scared, but glad he did it - what a beautiful animal! Since then, he has MADE me touch pigeons and other assorted birds he catches, butterflies, crickets, etc. This man is so good for my soul, and has loosened my rigid spine!!! (sorry, that belongs in a 'thankful' post, I suppose).

Natalka last time they where all yellow, but the mom does have a little black on her wing, I'm not sure if it will stay that much black, but hopefully I will find a place for them, I had 6 big once, lost 2 this winter/ spring the males killed eachother, now I have 2 males and 2 females but the 2 males fight since both girls had the nest close to each other, my old male is OLD!!!! over 6 years if not more, he was all alone for years and he used to think my mailbox and the civic numbers where a girl *LOL* it was imbarasing !!! so hubby let me buy a girl
but now I have to reduce, they make a mess and you have to watch out where you step in summer they sit right in front of the house entrance and there are piles and piles of??? *LOL* you know!!! yuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
but they are nice animals

today I have sold my geese all of them.

Sally yup all of them 2 girls 2 boys and 6 babies, and also gave them all the eggs from one of the mom *LOL*
they went to a good new home where they will continue to be free, here with all the skunks and racoons I was paniking and hubby told me try to sell them all as a package deal, so I made an add and one family drove more then 2 hr for them.
so they are gone.
but have about 30 meat chickens again, all fenced in for now since they are still smallish.
