I've been running around today like a mad-woman doing run to the vet, drop offs, spilling my drink right after I bought it a Timmies and trying to squeeze I some housework and most importantly laundry! all the while still trying to get over being sick for 1.5 weeks! YUCK! I might lazy out and get as pizza......
Candlelight dinner with DD today since DF is working late . Basmati rice , cucumber and some improvised braised pork (ketchup, mustard, soy sauce , chili, paprika, garlic, water cooked for 3-4 hours)

took the girls out for pizza pizza tonight to celebrate the first day of school.
Went to a friends for dinner so didn't snag a pic.
My late evening snack.
Cucumber nachos. Cucumber slices with a piece of turkey bacon, tsp of wholly hot salsa, topped with a pinch of Mexicana cheese.
Food tastes a lot better when you make it look good too. Lol.

Last night I made my veggie and hamburger taco mix, had it with taco chips with melted marble cheese on top, sour cream, salsa, and a glass of milk. Haven't had that since July. mmm
Tonight will be leftover soup from yesterday - with more broth and rice added; whatever leftovers are in the fridge and/or sandwiches.
Last night was leftover night, a bit of steak, a bit of chicken, a hot dog or two! Tonight is going to be spaghetti and meatballs (meatballs were cooked and already in the freezer). I'm going to replace at least half of the pasta with zucchini and onion ribbons from my slicer dicer (but won't try to fool DS with that yet).

Last night ended up being BK since we were back late from the vet and running around, no time even for a pizza. Today is going to be the say kinda day but I am going to have to try and make something..... maybe rice and a curry sauce???
Roast Beef!
i roast it in a bed of thickly sliced onions and it smells heavenly.
serving it with nuked corn and peas. and garlic mashed potatoes made with roasted garlic.
not to poke fun, but i swear everytime i hear of a slicer and dicer i think of these funny Bloom County comics the the Salad Shooter kept making an appearance :)
