Yes, I'd like to know too please :-). I make mine pretty plain by frying some lean smoked bacon and onions, adding the sauerkraut, some water, salt, pepper, and a bay leaf or two and then simmering for 45 mins.. DS keeps asking for unpasteurized but it's 10$ a jar here :eek:. I'm thinking about making it from scratch the way my parents did when I was little....just have to find a way so that DH won't make a stink about the stink in his garage :biggrin:.
