Thanks but I'm not a HUGE fan of crickets and yes I have eaten them. Maybe covered in chocolate would taste better????? ;)

Yorkshire pudding.........YUM! :coffee:
Im not cooking tonight! Yay! It`s a second Wednesday, so its Military Whist day. After playing, we all sit down to sandwiches, dessert and coffee/tea. Thats basically dinner for tonight.
last night was turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green/yellow beans/carrots, stuffing. i made a big pot of turkey & rice soup with the leftover turkey so we can have that during the week for lunch. tonight is turkey & broccoli casserole with a can of mushroom soup and linguine noodles. I cant remember what the cookbook calls it but it's pretty good and a different way to use up turkey!
last night was hot turkey sandwich with a big green leaf salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and red peppers.
Tonight is turkey tacos ....so much turkey left over!!! haha
lasagna
Last night was shredded roast beef in gravy over smashed potatoes with saute carrots. Roast was cooked over the weekend in the slow cooker and shredded so just has make some gravy to heat up the roast and make the potatoes.
We had crap from Thai Express (pad Thai) while doing all our shopping for Mexico.. but I'm really craving (insanely) poutine now ..
Tonight I made boneless skinless chicken on the bbq (butterflied) with rice, corn and veggies (mushrooms, peppers, onion, asparagus and garlic) Love using up the veggies in the fridge before making a shopping list with the new flyers :)
I have a confession ... I just had the most ridiculous amount of poutine one "lady" should ever have ... The baby is moving I think cause he's squished by fries, cheese and gravy and my belly button is gonna pop out .. Just for tonight :lolsign:
^^ Too funny!! sounds awesome!! LOL
a NFLD Jigg's dinner in ONT
last night was a Taco Pizza, never tried this before but figured hey why not. Reheated some left over Taco Meat, and saute some red and yellow peppers mushrooms and onions with a sprinkle of Taco Seasoning. I mixed the meat and veggies. Put it on some Flat bread crusts my mom had bought and never used used a little Salsa for the sauce topped with the meat and veggies and sprinkled over a little bit of cheddar/jalapeno cheese. After it was baked I topped with a little bit of sour cream a little more salsa and shredded lettuce. Best part was it was super fast only took about 15 minutes and was really yummy.
not sure tonight, perhaps some bbq'd burgers and fries. I have to work this evening for a few hours during the dinner hour so it's up to DH to feed the kids.
ham.... and i'm not positive on what im making with it.
