I am thinking Burgers we have a package of Beef/Pork Blend that needs to be made into burgers to be frozen so why not make it easy and have burgers for dinner. Really wishing I had of whipped up a batch of potato salad on the weekend as that would have been the perfect side dish but oh well, will figure out a side later.
Pita stuffed coleslaw with hummus sauce and baked chicken strips.
Tonight will be chicken souvlaki that I marinade and freeze, on the bbq. Along with the chicken we will have roasted corn on the cob, asparagus, zucchini and mushroom on the BBQ as well.
This is so neat!! I have never heard of this before! :omg: I don't think we get iceberg pieces on the West Coast.....I am still trying to picture how big this would be.
It's only 8am here and I just finished my bagel from Timmy's so I haven't given dinner much thought. I will keep watching this spot today to see if anything inspires :)

KelJo hope your grandmother feels better and improves
Oh no, sorry to hear about your grandma. It is wonderful that you have so much family close by though.
I can imagine how tough it would be if you were the only one. Or if she had no one.
I decided on bbq chicken after asking my roommate and him saying he couldn't stop thinking about the bbq ribs from last night....plus have have all those $4 chicken coupons. So I just need a quick and easy side....cold preferably.
Veal Lasagna with Caesar salad and a loaf of Italian bread. Chocolate ice cream for dessert.
Yesterday I bought 3 pork loin halves from No Frills for $1.97/lb. When dh came home he sliced all 3 packages up and we put it in the freezer for later meals in the forms of: pork steaks, pork roasts, pork chunks.
I turned some of the pork chunks into a pork and veggie stir fry with egg noodles. We each had a glass of milk to go with it. LO snacked on various things because supper was somewhat late and he was hungry. He had milk, Greek yogurt covered raisins (from Bulk Barn, they are new to him and he loved them), plain nacho chips, and some other stuff.
We're going to have fish chowder.
Leftovers tonight! I am not cooking!
