..totally miserable weather day here so I spent a lovely afternoon in the kitchen...cooked enough for a couple of days+..I made chicken curry which tasted amazing and I made a pasta meat sauce so I had spaghetti..lots of leftovers incl enough meat sauce for nachos at another time..and I followed up by making carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese icing ( 2 doz :) )

Tonight is the last chance to eat meat because we fast before Easter, so it will be Whopper Wednesday at our house!
^ my grandmother gave me the cookie jar from her kitchen, its older than I am..I always admired it..that jar has held A LOT of cookies over the years! lol!..it has a lot of dings and paint missing, my grandmother told me to buy ceramic paint and fix it up but I love it just the way it is :)

Fri - Dinner at DH's side (bringing Cesare Salad)
Sat - Dinner at my side (bringing appies: shrimp, cheese and kielbasa)
Sun - homemade lasagne, kale salad
Mon - LEFTOVERS

..I had the chicken curry I made yesterday..tasted even better today..had rice and garlic toast with it...I thought about making my own naan bread until the few recipes I looked at needed several hours+ for the dough lol..so plan B :-)

Last night I cooked lean ground beef with canned tomatoes, brown beans, and taco seasoning to go with nacho chips with marble cheese melted on top. Served with sour cream, mild salsa, and a glass of milk.
