Making do it yourself burritos with lots of fillings to choose from-pulled pork( in the slow cooker now), rice, black beans, grated cheese, diced tomatoes, homemade guacamole, sour cream, salsa and anything else we can think of-that ought to cover all the food groups!

My oldest daughter brought her newborn over this afternoon and my wife made veg tray with dip, cheese and cracker tray and a cold meat tray for herself and my daughter. (I left work early so I could see my grand daughter before they went back home)

There is still a lot left so ill keep snacking on it until they are gone

Almost the same but with gravy and carrots. Butter tarts for dessert.

Just a note - for the first time, I used a can of Great Value chili style diced tomatoes - and prepared chili the way I normally do - but, boy am I glad I held off on adding chili powder, which I would usually do. It was plenty spicy with the normal black pepper I used, plus whatever was in the tomatoes. (Good thing I didn't use chili style beans, too, which I sometimes do...)

I'm a wuss with spice, so although it's spicy as I'm eating it, it's tasty so it's bearable... passed some along to our son, who can bear a bit more spice than I can.
Husband, though, will add a lot of pepper to it, anyway... he's a hottie, lol!

Just bought some for the first time and am going to try using them for Swiss Steak tonight.
Like the Alymer Accents they have green peppers and chili powder, not green chilies.

I wish we could get Rotel Tomatoes here. Anytime I drive to the states I buy a case. Down to one can!!!

Toss-up between usual cooked pasta with tea and spices or have leftover lentil stew and toast with more diluted juice or PC Blue menu sparkling water (lemon is not bitter, I find, but lime & I quibble).
