What's For Dinner?

Chicken salad (chicken fried in honey garlic diana sauce) YUM i could drink that stuff.. i <3 it lol

Well, supper was kind of like Hamburger soup I suppose.... whatever it was, it was yummy. Yes I made it, it didn't turn out like planned, but was SO good!

Tonight, hot dogs and broccoli/grape salad.

brocoli and grapes in the same salad?

I am making hamburger hash and rotini noodles!

steak shrimp bakes potatoes with sour cream cheese and bacon and rice for ds who hates potatoes

Yeah, I discovered this amazing 'treat'!!! If anyone has kids who don't like broccoli, this would definitely be worth a try, too!
You cut up raw broccoli into florets, halve seedless red grapes, thinly sliced onion, thinly sliced fresh mushrooms, and sunflower seeds. Dressing is a bit of vinegar, mayonnaise, and white sugar. It's absolutely amazing - and everyone licks their salad bowls afterward! Tonight was funny because when my son came home from work, I was cutting the broccoli and grapes, so he guessed what we were having, and I said oh it's too bad I don't have any shelled sunflower seeds though. He said, well we have to have them. I suggested peanuts; he said no. I have sunflowers in shells, I said we could just have some and spit the kernels into the salad. He said mom you're crazy. So he HAD to go to Safeway and buy some raw sunflowers for the salad - watta kid!!!
Well, I'm glad he did; it tastes great with them in it!

I make the same salad but omit the mushrooms, and I add bacon and celery and use green onions instead of regular onions.Sometimes I use toasted almonds if I don't have sunflower seeds...and you are right, my kids all LOVE this salad...

My step mom makes that too! Sometimes with chunks of orange cheese as well
