It's the Grey Cup later! We'll be watching, so I made up a nacho layered dip. This time I added 0% fat plain Greek yogurt to the cream cheese, blending in dry taco mix powder. I also bumped up the heat a notch once the mixture was spread into the bottom of the dish with a scant dusting of chili powder over it before topping the whole thing with liquid Taco sauce and grated cheddar.
After fine dicing all the colourful veggies that make up the top layer, I've decided to keep them separate from the dip.
I go to extreme lengths ( with paper towel ) to keep these chopped toppings dry, but they can still " pool " in the dish.
So I think this will work better, everyone can just scoop their own portion of veg onto the dip.
Scoops are the Tostito of choice we use for filling up. Scrumptious morsels.

Made an interesting dish using strips of beef steak with broccoli crowns, snow peas and spaghetti squash.
Browned the strips of steak in a bit of sesame oil initially, finished off the tenderizing of the meat in Tamari and au jus from the blade roast I had in the oven.
Oh yeah, I made a roast too.
DH insisted on having some of those mini sausage roll appy's, so I bought ONE box for him to get his fill.

Returned the head of romaine I bought yesterday to NF, ( recall ) and picked up a head of iceberg instead.
