Making Instant Pot Pork Roast except I use Pork Chunks. I love this recipe it is an all in one, it has the Pork, Carrots, Mushrooms, Potatoes & Gravy all made in the Instant Pot.
I did tweak it a bit this time to add more veggies, last time I found the pork to veggies a little off. I also added more of the sauce ingredients to make more gravy to coat everything.
Its really windy today but its supposed to drop out by suppertime so counting on that so that I can bbq bone-in chicken breast, there's bacon leftover from brunch yesterday so will do up a potato packet with onion, garlic, bacon, etc and the swiss chard in the garden is growing LARGE so might sautee some in garlic & onion (and maybe bacon hee hee)
homemade mini pizzas with all the trimmings.
My wife made fresh buns so i am going to have leftover meat loaf sandwiches
cheemos perogies and schneiders sausages
i'll be making some sautee onions for myself as a side
Last night DH cooked up some burgers and picked fresh tender lettuce leaves from his garden for garnish.
He made up a few hot dogs as well. Nanimo bars for dessert!!

Homemade Pork Meatballs with Sweet & Sour Sauce over Rice and probably some veggies mixed in, gotta see what we have in the freezer as there was no Stir Fry mix last time we went shopping.

Only+8 here today so decided to make a jigg's dinner...have a pork roast to put in the oven...and will cook in a pot salt meat, peas pudding, blueberry pudding, cabbage, turnip, carrots, potato & lots of gravy!
making chicken soup in the crock pot using a turkey breast. Recipe calls for 1 lb chicken breast, 2 cups cut up carrots, some minced garlic and minced onion, parsley flakes, some oil and 6 cups of chicken broth. And egg noodles at the end. First time im trying this recipe so i hope it works. I dont usually make chicken soup in a crock pot, but oh well, will give it a try.
Chicken noodle soup is one of our favs. My wife started swapping out the egg noodles for regular pasta because we always make extra and the regular noodle seem to hold up better on the reheat.Quote:
