Yes! it is a steak and mushroom pie. I goofed and took out the package of phyllo from the freezer last night instead of puff pastry, so I decided to make a pie anyways.
Dad will probably make others hamburgers or a shephards pie(pate chinois) with the remaining big package of ground beef
ended up making chicken cordon bleu yesterday, leftovers for today! I followed this Tasty recipe and it was delicious!

Hoping to have a bbq this evening as haven't been able to have one since last week due to wind, and a super rainy rest of the week/weekend on tap so try and squeeze in a Q! The garden is overflowing with lettuce so definitely a salad. Interior NL has had frost warnings this past week, so won't be long before we get frost. The next "nice" day I'm hoping to cut down most of the lettuce & onion, etc and share with family & friends
We recently moved into a new house and I’ve been struggling to plan and prepare meals. Last night I made chicken and vegetable stir fry with egg noodles. It was a hit. I packed leftovers for my lunches in case I get called in to work.
Mom said she was craving spaghetti and meatballs, so that is what we are having
Tonight is takeaway night. Best Chinese in the city. 955 Chinese. Delivered. Yum!
Went out for lunch today so perhaps just some leftover black bean soup.
Ground beef patties with pepper sauce mashed patatoes and a salad
Tonight it is sk/bl chicken thighs done 2 ways. Chicken Adobo over rice ( DS requested this ) and Satay chicken with peanut sauce ( DH requested this ). I had 18 thighs, so 9 for each recipe.
The Adobo is simmered and done. The chicken for the Satay is in the marinate. I may do the thighs up on the BBQ this time, even though pan fried works just as well.
Sides for that will be spiced vermicelli noodles, and grilled yellow and green zucchini.
I saw greek pork brochettes (skewers?) (4)in flashfood maxi.....so reg :12$ flashfood 6$ bb date was today but we had that for dinner,delicious!!! :) I was craving brochettes lately so perfect timing!!! :) With bacon cheddar patatoes salad and strawberries for dessert !!! :)
For dinner today gournet sausages ,garden salad and strawberries turnover,happy friday!!! :)
Ive got a craving for HOT DOGS!!! So hot dogs tonight with mustart, relish and onions and cole slaw.
