DH and I plan to have some of the frozen Dim Sum yummies with a few potstickers. Get to use my bamboo steamer, it's been a while. Not sure if a salad should accompany these, need input from " The Boss " ha ha
Roast chicken with baked potatoes and cauliflower soup.
Last night we made Homemade Pizza with Pepperoni, Mushroom, Onion. Cheddar, Bacon and Parm.
I had a side Cucumber Salad.
Lazy today so picked up chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi.
Tonight I had Chicken Parm Soup but it uses Quinoa instead of Pasta. It is made in the slow cooker but when I go to serve it I put it in a dish and top it with mozzarella and bake it off like a French Onion Soup.
I also made some homemade bread which I turned a few slices into Garlic Toast.
Chili “chicken” tofu over coconut basmati rice
Tonight- Grilled BLSL chicken breasts with veggies/rice/baked sweet potato.
Making a bunch of sides and then everyone can pick what they want. Will use the leftovers for tomorrow night's dinner.
it is going to be a tuna sammy and a small salad for me, not sure what the guys want. They head back to work Wednesday so they better start now
thinking about what sorts of meals they want to drag in with them.
Tonight we had a marinated whole chicken with mashed potatoes and steam broccoli and carrots.
Not sure about the marinate, Mom made it but there was definitely balsamic vinegar so I was in, I am a sucker for anything balsamic.
I am going to make a beef and veggie stir fry with rice.
Tonight I am doing a Chicken Alfredo Bake with Mushrooms and Broccoli.
On the side I will be making Garlic Toast out of my homemade bread I made on the weekend.
Normally there would also be a salad but I had one at lunch and just not feeling a second one so I added extra Broccoli and Mushrooms to the pasta.
Dinner salads for both DH and myself. Used the Taylor brand of bagged kits. All the kits were $3.00 or less with sales and 50% off stickers on them. Nice crunch to those salads.
Last night I had BLSL chicken, baked sweet potato and a sliced up cucumber.
Believe it or not DH pushed me to buy another Butterball turkey at NF because he said he didn't get enough turkey at Christmas??!!
We found the smallest one there ( $35.00 ) I think is was 4.5 kg. For just us 3 here that is almost too much bird this soon.
We'll eat the original meal with sides this weekend, the guys can drag some of those meals into work. Leftover wise, I suppose hot
open faced sandwiches or cold ones can work. I'm freezing the carcass though, soup won't happen till maybe early February.
