no apology needed hope it was good -- ours weren't bad at all, mine was way spicier than expected (just how I like it) and the bf had something meaty and delicious. have you heard about "lays chip trips"? I just signed up for it via the freebies section and already have more than enough points for a free $5 GC just from the codes the thread supplied. you can have one account per e-mail addy so the bf and I will be eating our subs courtesy of them next time. whatta deal!

If I didn't know who said this I would've guessed it was Natalka! Good idea. I might try that sometime.
Tonight was broiled fresh wild Halibut, which is in season here on the west coast. We usually don't buy it until the price goes below $2/100gm. I make a marinade of olive oil, lemon juice, S&P and ground rosemary and marinate the fish for a few hours before cooking. And then we have a small portion with lots of veggies. Beets, carrots, brocolli, baked yam and tomato.

Well, that sounds good free is always good.
So I had the 6" bmt on Flat bread and was feeling generous and bought a second 6" bmt and chips for the pm shift at work. They were completely surprised that I would do that for them, and they said so i don't have to go home now at 11pm and make dinner.

Oh, mcminsen, another heavenly meal! I would love all those veggies at one meal - but gee, to have fish which isn't frozen would be amazing! That's a one 'boo' for being in a landlocked province!
Last night, didn't make the pork rolls after all, but a casserole with the ground pork, onions, mushrooms, celery, and corn in a mushroom sauce, served over bowtie pasta.
