A sort of dreary day. I think I will make a nice big pot of spicy chili. :)
ugh its so hot ..yesterday 38 with humidity today I think 35 - European wieners and salad today!
Beef stew in the crock pot...way to hot to cook!
Vegan (soy free) sloppy joes on gf buns and daiya cheese:) Veggies and hummus to dip:)
I think I will make turkey ones for the kids but I really want everyone to eat better!!

stuffed zuchini cooked in yogurt sauce
We had BBQ pork chops with mini potatoes, green peppers, carrots and fresh mushrooms baked in the oven (in apple juice). It was super yummy!!
last night i made turkey meatballs with sweet and sour sauce (the VH one), white rice, and corn. tonight was leftover meatballs, rice, fresh asparagus pan fried with mushrooms and bell peppers.
does anyone know if you can freeze asparagus? do you cut it up and freeze it? dethaw before you cook? does it change the taste much? i'd love to do it cause its so cheap right now here.
Last night was pizzas - Co-op rising crust deluxe (similar to Delissio, but better!). They are tasty, but pretty spicy for me - but I somehow got through two pieces!
I love it when people say I somehow got through two slices of pizza and here I sometimes can eat a whole extra large myself, lol. ;)
Tonight I'm not sure, but next friday i'm gonna make my own mozza cheese and use pita bread, pesto sauce and sausage and make pizzas..:)
Btw to make the mozza cheese I use this method here:

sweet & sour chicken meatballs, egg noodles & spinach salad
Also I don't use that kit and no cheese salt, lol just lots of sea salt..Plus the rennet, citric acid and milk of course. but I do follow the same steps..you don't need that kit which costs like $30.00..rennet you can get for $5.00 and citric acid I forget how much it costs but you can get at bulk barn.;)
cabmonk, great that you are going to give cheesemaking a try!
About how much pizza to eat - yeah, my husband (stringbean) eats an extra large all dressed and then asks what's for supper - AND he's serious.
Me, the fluffy one, can barely finish the last bite of the second slice. Life isn't fair!
"fluffy" I have never heard that one!! I just spit out my lunch!!!
Leftover stew from yesterday-at work & make sure I have extra
Turkey burgers, berry salad, veggies and dip and homemade gf banana choco bread:)
Not really sure. My stomach is still somewhat upset, although icecream sounds interesting at the moment.
Baked salmom, boiled potatoes tossed with EVOO (hubby likes it that way instead of the fancy schmancy roasted with rosemary etc), steamed asparagus
Whopper Wednesday, yay!
Last night I made a beef roast with mashed potatoes and turnips, and green and yellow beans. Soooo......that means tonight is Philly cheese steak sammies with a greek salad :) I put lots of fried mushrooms, havarti cheese, carmalized onions, fried peppers and whatever else I feel like on the sammies. I love a great roast beef dinner, but I just love the next day, so many choices as to what to make with the leftover beef. I purposely make an extra big roast so I have lots of leftovers, sometimes enough for 2 extra meals......:P
Big salad, pasta salad BBQ chicken for those who want??
chicken teriyaki over rice and peas on the side
for lunch i had pork pho soup
and for dinner will be just scraps of whatever i can find in the fridge.
Been stalking this thread for a while now, I think its finally time to contribute lol! Although nothing home cooked tonight, dad ordered a pizza with the works! Cold pizza for lunch! YUM!
tonight i was going to make pancakes for something different, but 1 kid say 'yay' the other boo'd me. sooooo, the kids made mini pizzas with english muffins, leftover green peppers, mushrooms, and balogna (i had no pepperonis but they liked it diced up so meh). i had white rice and asparagus/mushrooms/onions/peppers with balsamic vinegar.
Ham sandwich-at work
DH is leaving on vacation for a week on Saturday morning. That means I have to do something that will allow him to eat the half-dozen slices of bacon in the fridge on the side... I bought a full pack for him last Friday when I was going to be away for 4 days, but he didn't eat it all while I was gone :( I am not a bacon eater at the best of times and can't stomach it at all right now.
I am thinking pancakes and apple rings (lightly pan fried with a wee bit of butter and a whole lot of cinnamon) or eggs and toast... although I have been told that I'm supposed to make sure that any eggs I eat have fully cooked yolks and all I want is eggs poached or over easy, my 2 fave ways to eat them :/ That will probably be the one pregnancy food rule that I just can't follow.
