Saturday we ordered Chinese food, then we had it for supper Sunday as well.
I got overruled on the turkey I wanted for Thanksgiving dinnerso I'm roasting a huge chicken for tonight, making cabbage rolls and perogies. I'll MAKE them eat something green as well!

We had our thanksgiving dinner sat night for about 30 people.
To start:
Cheese and crackers, fruit platter, veggie platter, I made shrimp salad to go with crackers. The dressing I made consisted of pesto, chopped garlic, mayo, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. My cousins wife made apple butter and pumpkin butter.
Dinner:
Turkey and ham, meatballs, roast pork, mashed potatoes, roasted mini potatoes, asparagus, sweet potatoes, Homemade stuffing, Corn, carrots, Gravy, Salad with apples, lettuce, spinach, crumbled walnuts and pomegranates, and homemade cranberry sauce on the side.
Dessert:
Homemade apple caramel pie and pumpkin pie. Homemade butter tarts and biscotti, and homemade cupcakes topped with icing with bacon in it and then crumbled bacon(um they were actually very good) Then fresh whipped cream on the side for the pies.

omg. I hurt just thinking about it.
We ate bbq hamburgers tonight. After 2 days of full out turkey dinners with both families, we ate beef out of fear we may actually start gobbling and fluffing our feathers from over-turkeyfying ourselves all weekend. hahaha
mmm. But that homemade apple caramel pie sounds fabulous.
Think I might still have some room left.

Tonight, leftovers! Oh, I wish it were leftover turkey - but it's leftover chicken, stuffing, gravy, cabbage rolls, and perogies from yesterday.
