What's For Dinner?

kazm, we ordered takeout from a local 'food emporium' - they have a big variety of all types of food. Sent my husband with a list, I wanted a burger, husband was going to have one too, son wanted fish and chips. Husband comes home with two burger meals and two three-piece fish meals. Well, I went for the fish, then, and wowsers was it ever good! I'm going to phone today to find out what kind of fish it was. Funny I had ordered fish from there about a year ago, and it was nasty all dried out... but they are 'famous' for their fish and chips.... So now I see why.
Their chips are handcut - and honestly the best I've ever, ever had...

salmon, rice & spinach salad

Home made parmisean meatballs (first time I have made meatballs in years). I made mushroom veggie sauce and vermacelli to go with it. I froze the extra meatballs for another time (it's just me here).

I'm gonna cook some red snapper that DH caught with the kids

Sausage and rotini with Ragu sauce. YUM.

Made some sort of porkie thingee in mushroomie saucie with rotini pasta.

I had a microwave baked potato with cheese, salsa and fat-free sour cream...kidlets had eggs and toast with yogurt.

Hamburger stew, with vegetables from my garden this summer ... 7 minute defrost/reheat !!!

I think tonight I will be making rice with some vegetables...I am on a diet, so nothing too special

Homemade pizza

chicken chilli with corn bread. yum-o

I had butter chicken and DH had curry chicken at a local Indian place :P:P:P It was so yummy and so stinkin' filling :)

I had re-heated home made beef stew, yummmmmmy, here's a clue for added flavour in your homemade stews, add about 1/8-1/4 cup of HP Sauce.
