Tbones, zucchini, and rice.
Today is National Eat Beans Day & I know you'll all find this thrilling,
Many of you already have your 4 bean dip made & its in the fridge a'chilling',
Kidney Beans & Navy Beans, I'll bet your spoon is waiting,
We all know about the after effects of beans; that needs no translating,
Lima Beans & String Beans were ones I once refused to eat,
& if twittering was available back then, you would have seen my tweet,
Fava Beans are not really beans, but they contain phosphorous & protein,
But if you have Boston Baked or Pork & Beans, stick close to the latrine,
Adzyuki Beans are said to help with weight loss & can be served with rice,
Cannellini Beans are white & said to be the Kidney Beans long lost cousin,
& I wonder if a bean counter, counts their beans by the dozen?
We all have learned that wax beans are not really made of wax,
& have you ever played a game that uses beans instead of Jacks?
Garbanzo Beans & Green Beans can be served in a zingy salad,
& I don't think that Bean Jingle is the bestest ballad?
Jelly Beans & Mexican Jumping beans, sadly do not count,
Will you reveal your favourite bean, as we feel the tension mount,
Happy National Eat Beans Day & it is time to give a cheer,
Now off you go & have a swig of delicious 3 Bean Beer!

Not cooking tonight. Takeout from somewhere - I'm voting for Chinese, but we'll see...
Too hot. Kitchen in a mess, too hot to clean it up. On strike. :)
My fiancé and I had a pretty big fight last night, so he promised to cook a very romantic dinner, and we'll have a nice night in. will fill you in tomorrow about what he came up with.
spaghetti
BBQ Pulled Pork over mashed potatoes, weird I know but I prefer it over potatoes than put on a bun.
I put a beef roast in the slow cooker this morning, so will prob just smash a few+ potatoes to go with it, carrots, corn, low-sodium stove top, gravy, etc
Toaster Strudels again.
Last night was mexican sloppy joes and the BIGGEST fruit salad ever :P:P:P
Not sure about tonight but I'm thinking maybe Boston Pizza since it would be a free dinner :P
Attachment 184182 Frugal snack of the week, chips and salsa :)
Big bbq this evening!! Think I will do ribs and grill a bunch of veggies to go with it & pineapple; maybe rice on the side burner
whatever's left at the bottom of the deep freeze
Chili is in the slowcooker! :)
Hot dogs, huge salad and some fruit to finish it off :P
We've been camping for the past two days, not eating healthy at all! Burgers and Grill Ems over an open fire, when it wasn't raining. Among other things, we went tidal bore rafting, which was awesome. Tomorrow we''re off again, no tent this time, cabin! Too hot to cook tonight, cold salads.
Fish and Chips, again with the take out but I was not about to cook been fighting a massive sinus headache for 2 days and mom has spend the day decorating a cake. Hope there is some icing left over for dessert tonight as I see there is a an extra baby cake on the counter.
I am going to friends this evening for a bbq, so yeah, don't have to cook!
looks like micky d's tonight. big mac, fries, coke.
look out arteries, here comes the fat.
Organic rice, meatballs and broccoli. Till getting into the swing of everything organic grass feed and GMO free:)
festival food, so probably hotdogs & hamburgers..lol..hopefully there will be something a little more interesting!
Last night was leftover chili, with cornbread muffins.
I just got back from visiting the family in Calgary. I should be serving nothing but lettuce to make up for all the rich, high calorie food that was consumed this past week...but I think the family would have an issue with that.
Last night, we had bbq ribs, rice and kale. Spinach salad on the side.
for lunch, i'm doing porkchops with korean noodles and kimchi.
Yesterday I made a bowl of low-fat vegie macaroni salad. Instead of a ton of mayo, it uses cottage cheese and low fat mayo creamed in a blender, plus fresh seasonings. I got the recipe out of the Moosewood Low-Fat cookbook. Will have to try more from that book. Not for meat glutons!
I made Vietnamese salad rolls for dinner. Wanted something light and refreshing, nothing to be eaten warm as it's too hot and humid.
Then had ice cream.
Mini Wheats, had a burger well we were out doing some running around so just something light and simple for dinner.
Organic: BBQ chicken, avocado, baby spinach and romane, tomato and cucumber salad.
Then went on a 2 hr walk with my puppy:)
had a piece of halibut for $8.99 including tax
at that price i couldn't afford to tip the waitress!
definitely NOT worth it
after yesterday's bbq, take your pic, chicken, HD's or Hammies, pasta salad, red potato salad. cupcakes for dessert of course and watermelon(forgot about it)
