Actually, last night I had Crab Cakes at Jake's Seafood, a popular local joint in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. One of my fave dishes. :-)
I have bits and pieces of sirloin tip, so I guess I'll end up making a stir fry of some sort - still so many fresh veggies around, it's wonderful!

Last night, husband ended up eating burgers at a church picnic, son worked til after 8 - so we ended up using Mickey D coupons and I got my once-a-year Big Mac! Man, their fries are good! I just fried up the beef I had thawed, and will use it for something else...
Tonight, honey-garlic chicken thighs, new potatoes, and a BIG salad.
My mom and dad came this weekend and took very good care of me:) I did not have to cook once! It was so awesome. My mom made a filo dough dish (rice, portabellos, lentils etc) with a chickpea salad filled with veggies from the garden. Homemade vegan donuts just for me! Saturday we had homemade naan bread filled with potatoes and vegan cabbage rolls. Plus she made me a pie that is waiting in the freezer! My dad also put 6 new windows into our house. I love my mom and dad :)
