That is it!! They made dinner with wheat and dairy!!! I ate strawberries:(
No more miss nice gal! I am mad! I do 100% of the shopping and 99% of the cooking. I am only cooking and buying what I can eat. (rant over)
Take care of yourself Abby, no one else will :(, it's so hard to get everyone on board a lifestyle change
Thanks Patti you are a doll:) I hope you feel appreciated:)
Tonight was homemade microphon-ee and cheese (LOL) with steamed broccoli, a garden salad & homemade cupcakes with sprinkles for dessert!!
Leftover-a-rama. As in, we've been doing leftover-a-rama all day long (not just for supper). LOL. We had a family gathering yesterday at my house and I overdid it on the preparations. We had a TON of leftover hamburgers and hot dogs, mexican bean salad, ramen noodle coleslaw, fruit tray, veggie tray. omg. and don't get me started on the leftover desserts. My waistline surely cannot take it! :P
my kids were like, "but mommy...we ate that for supper last night," and I was like, "so? What's your point? Eat up!" muahahaha
I hate wasting food. Gheesh. There's still so many leftovers and that was even AFTER I sent home care packages with my dad and made care packages for the 20-something boyfriends my nieces brought.
Tonight I made a ham stirfry with onions, mushrooms, celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and green peppers (almost every veg in the house, but not quite), served over fusili pasta.
I got home at like 10 so I just made perogies...going to forage for junk food when I make tea after my shower though!
Oh, wow, you're killing me with the delish things you are cooking! I haven't had sorrel soup in years, my mom grew it in her garden and would make it - SO very good! You're lucky to have found some at the market!
I agree with you on the Pan Sear fish - we bought the salmon and another kind, I can't remember, I definitely would not pay the big bucks they usually go for.
For pre-prepared frozen salmon, the High Liner IQF ones will go on sale for $5, so I will buy those and season myself. Or just buy a frozen whole pink salmon if I can find a decent one.
kibbles :P

bbq pork chops and bbq baked potatoe with a green salad and bbq Belgium endives
Pork stew in the slowcooker, with lots of veggies.
Vegan stuffed potatoes on the BBQ and NOTHING else!!!
Not sure what I'm making tonight. All the leftovers are eaten up, all the jamacian patties I made for dinner last night are gone, so it's a fresh start. I was thinking of making a loaded shepherds pie. I haven't had that in a while and it's a great one dish meal served up with some great bread.
When I do the loaded pie, I add sauted mushrooms, grilled asparagus, onions, corn, red bell peppers and spinach to the ground beef mixture. Then when I do the topping I add cheese, green onions, roasted garlic and sour cream to the potatoes when I'm mashing them. It's always such a filling dish and can have leftovers for another meal  It's settled, Shepherds Pie it is :lolsign:
