Tonight Pork chops with patato salad yummy!
I just spent the morning making a slowcooker full of potato/leek soup, and 2.5lbs of turkey meatballs :P only 2.5lbs more to go ;)
All headed for the vacuum sealer and freezer except a few meatballs for tonights dinner :P
Tonight will be peppercorn steak on the BBQ with steamed green beans & mashed potatoes with bacon bits (make my own with real bacon), shredded cheese & sour cream.
There will also be homemade carrot cake with creme cheese icing (all made from scratch) for dessert. The cake is cooling now, so the house smells awesome. :)
Because of the above poster.... all I can think about is mashed potatoes with bacon bits. Won`t leave my fertile little mind. Thus I`m going to make it with non real bacon bits and maybe peas and stuffing. Yum!
I'm so boring - went back to our fallback pita pizzas ad salad - I was craving pizza but couldn't fathom the cost (financial and caloric) so threw together pita pizzas and so the craving is sated.
i did extreme pita for lunch today
it was my first time and i was impressed
had the fallafel pita with feta and tabouli salad
very fresh and tasty.
wow! I should live closer and "need to borrow a cup of sugar-invite myself to dinner"! Mmmmm on the full menu...my sweet tooth is craving carrot cake now! LOL!
we had a busy day...between a church service, chatting with an old friend and meeting with clients, we had rice, veggies and a chicken from RCSS. hubby's gone out now so hoping he'll come home with a snackie!
The carrot cake was super awesome (there are 2 containers in the fridge now). I just had a nice slice with a fresh cup of coffee lol
Tonight will be chicken noodle soup using my homemade stock :P Perfect for a cold rainy day. I might even make some rolls/buns or biscuits to go with :P
Lazy night, so chicken burgers on kaisers & fries

Chicken with rice and broccoli. If I find shake and bake....
Just crush up some corn flakes in a ziploc bag, add in some spices, and voila! better than shake n bake
