Tonights dinner will be beefdip made from my homemade ciabatta buns and last nights leftover roastbeef. I'll make a potato salad this morning to go with it. Easy fast meal, the rest of the day is for relaxing:P
reservations :)
Tonight leftover pizza, but then I'll add some stuffed clams and mixed veggies.
Last night was PF Changs over rice since we moved most of the day. Tonight will be something easy since I have to unpack and I am so stinkin' sore!
Supper last night was roast chicken (we sure have that a lot), with mashed potatoes, veggies and a slice of pumpernickel.
we're taking the kids to Retro Planet tonight (i think it's like a chuck-ee-cheese) for some pizza, games and glow in the dark miniputt. they're super good girls today! can't wait.
Chili tonight - it's been a frigid and snowy day.
Made up an experimental pot of soup. Worked good. One very large pumpkin was still sitting uncarved out front, and I still had a very large butternut squash, so in the oven to roast they went.
I blended the " meat " of those in batches with some no salt chicken broth. Put that puree into a pot with diced onion, chopped celery and chopped fresh basil leaves, black pepper, and a sprinkle of nutmeg and some real maple syrup.
Now I would never put meat into a soup like that but DH whined about wanting some in so I pressure cooked about 5 oz of eye of round roast diced up into small pieces. Tasted so nice, and I did not even have to add the heavy cream at all. Better for me.
Not sure who is eating what for dinner, we are all on a different sleep schedule again.
Perogies were cooked up earlier, and the basa fillets too. Hmmm, I still need to make some veggies as well.
I went for comfort food that my Mom and Grammie used to always make that we call "goulash" but it's really not.
ground beef and macaroni with tomato soup over it. it makes me feel so cozy and homey.
DH is having mashed potatoes, carrots and meat loaf. I'm having peanut tofu with veggies.
Kids are gone for the evening so it's every man for himself. DH nuked up the panzerotti leftovers for himself. I cut up a plate of fresh veggies-- cucumbers, green peppers, and carrot sticks for me. With all the pasta and bread and cheese and stuff lately, I'm feeling a little veggie deprived!
