macaroni...
I did homemade falafel tonight...From the looks of it I will be eating falafel from now until next winter with the amount I have frozen and in the fridge LOL!
Attachment 176128It's been so hot here that its BBQ almost every night, unless its the in laws for dinner ;)
The night before last was BBQ steaks, 4 cheese Mac salad, and Louisiana roasted corn.
Last night was cheviche rojo de camero and fish tacos
My son saw there were fresh mushrooms in the fridge, so he's requested pork in mushroom sauce for supper tonight - happy to oblige, since we need to have something different - plus he's not picky about what he eats and rarely suggests anything when I ask. That's the great thing about my son and husband - they eat whatever I make!
Will serve with pasta and veggies.
Bought fresh steak last night so tonight we will have steak with broccoli and rice I think (tired of potatoes!)
Tonight I am making general tso's chicken in the slow cooker. :) served on rice with steamed veggies. :)
chicken on the bbq, fried rice with lots of veggies that I already made this morning, and corn on the cob done on the bbq as well..(I also have a few+ tomatoes and fresh buns to use up so I might make some bruschetta and throw that on the bbq to crust up a little and melt the cheese)
BBQ beef and veggie kebabs, rice and salad-have to eat early as DD has soccer tonight.
Stouffer's chedder club melt crustini
ham in the slow cooker, mashed potatoes and either carrots or broccoli.
Changed the plan for dinner tonight. Bought fresh ground beef so will make tacos tonight and freeze the leftovers for another night. We have a family dinner tomorrow night. Will have the steak dinner Thursday night..
Oh, I'm hoping stores have corn this week; I can't wait!
Well, what was supposed to be ground pork turned out to be steak - do they really look the same in the freezer? To my son, I guess they did.
Anyway, I had a late lunch, so the men get steak with mushroom and onions for supper.
Made some spinach and cheese ravioli (packaged stuff that was on sale at no frills for $2) with my cheat cheap cream sauce. Can of cream of mushroom soup that was on sale for .67, don't add the water, and added some broccoli that was on sale. Got a crown for .49 so that makes my whole meal total for tonight about $1.29 :) and it was so good! It is just as good as getting a jar of cream sauce or doing homemade from scratch which takes forever and is expensive if you don't have all the ingredients on hand.
