Weird idea since I have so much lasagna left. I was wondering about battering and deep frying some of it. Ummm wondering how that would work out, lol.

Fish and chips. I made tartar sauce using mayo, chopped dill pickle, and a splash of lemon juice.

I did a test this morning. I made a very basic beer batter. 1 egg, 3/4 can Rickards white, 1 cup flour, salt, hot paprika, onion powder and some Italian seasoning. I mixed the egg with the rickards white and then mixed it into the dry ingredients.
I had left over lasagna ready to go in the fridge. Easy to cut into small squares and then dredged them in flour first and then dipped into the batter. I fried at high temp for 6 mins because I like crispy, lol.
Took pics with cell, little blurry.

Yesterday
Oriental Pork Loin (very easy recipe)
My "no fail" fragrant basmati rice
Roasted asparagus
($ saved - pork tenderloin on sale + 30% off and very cheap asparagus)
And in the slow cooker
Pesto Minestrone Soup
($ saved - 50% off Red Pepper, Potatoes 10lbs $3.00, Free Broth/canned tomatoes, Pesto I made last summer super cheap, the last of it)
I only was able to do a mini taste test of the soup, as I forgot to turn on the slow cooker until the afternoon. LOL But it was awesome.
Tonight, going over to a friend's place to cook up a feast (don't know what's on the menu yet).

Wow, cabmonk, you've been adventurous!
Tonight, it's just me and my husband, so I'm trying out M&M Meat's Shepherd's pie. We'll have cucumber and onion salad with it.
