..its miserable here today, winds gusting to 90km/hr, rain so definitely an indoor type of day. Cooking a jigs dinner, beef roast, salt meat, peas pudding, cabbage, turnip carrot, potatoes, etc still deciding between a molasses pudding or blueberry. Last year blueberries were in abundance, this year I couldn't find many (probably because it was a cold summer) but luckily still have some in the freezer from last year that are still good

I still have a head of cabbage that a friend gave me so im making Miracle Soup today. I think this might be an old WW recipe but not sure. Here is the recipe:
MIRACLE SOUP
5 CUPS WATER (APPROXIMATELY)
2 CANS (28 OZ / 796mL) TOMATOES
2 GREEN BELL PEPPERS, DICED
1 MEDIUM CABBAGE, SHREDDED
1 LARGE ONION, FINELY CHOPPED
1 STALK CELERY, DICED
1 (35g) PACKAGE ONION SOUP MIX
IN LARGE POT, COMBINE WATER, TOMATOES,
PEPPERS, CABBAGE, ONION, CELERY AND ONION SOUP MIX. BRING TO BOIL,
REDUCE HEAT AND SIMMER FOR 45 MINUTES, ADDING MORE WATER IF DESIRED.
MAKES ABOUT 14 CUPS.Last edited by SnowFlakey; Mon, Sep 30th, 2019 at 10:44 AM.

Last night was a bit of a whatever happens happens ... went to a discussion at the ROM that started at 6PM so had no time beforehand for a meal. After the ROM it was too late really for a restaurant meal so just came home and threw something together from various bits and bobs... in the end just enough.

Last night I ended up working late so I just made Hot Dogs. Not sure if I will work late again tonight (not a fan of these late afternoon meetings) so we will see when I get home.

Cooked last night so no cooking tonight!
I made taco meat. Chicken baked in the oven. Rice. A tray of oven fries. Green beans. Everything in its own container so make a plate and heat and eat.
