Had my 19/20 week appointment today, and I go for my Ultrasound on the 17th. If we don't find out what sex the baby is then, we are going to have a 3D ultrasound for sure. We had one with Monet and it was awesome. Gave me a pap test and MAN, I hate those freaking things. Who wants to give a pregnant woman a pap test? I was kinda mad.

Haha!! I've been craving McDonalds like something awful lately.

OMG I crave it really bad, and it gives me the worst heartburn, but it is SOOO good when you get something you are craving that badly.

Sorry I should have explained myself better. I am not a vegetarian but I do not eat in most restaurants as it is not kosher/halal. I also do not eat certain ingredients derived from animals like rennet, gelatin unless it is from a kosher/halal source (like they make gelatin from fish which is fine). No alcohol either...I know most of you must think crazy stuff, but it is actually quite simple...no fast food for the most part which is healthier for me, I cook it all at home so I know what is in my burger or pizza

I am totally with you on not eating in restaurants, but only because I have worked in so many. What goes on in restaurant kitchens is a SIN.

Sometimes at home that is all we feel like eating is veggies, but I could never totaly give up meat.

Hi all--thanks for all the new words.

I went to gyn a few days ago for yearly exam & mammogram & got called back on the mammogram. Went back in this morning and they did an ultrasound to take a closer look at 2 areas. They girl that did it seemed to think that the 2 spots were due to having fibrocystic disease and seemed to think I didn't have anything to worry about. Of course the radiologist will have to read the report & get back in touch with my dr.

I was wondering if anybody here had been called back in.

Well, my hamburger was very very good. At least what I was allowed to eat of it (hard to resist those big sad "I'm starving to death" eyes).

I'm putting off the spring cleaning (well, it's been a year, what's a few more hours?) cause it's dark & dreary here. & the dog's getting bored of holding the flashlight so I can see into the back of the closet. Not to mention the cat who keeps trying to get in my way. I think the servants are rebelling.

I can't believe all these words. I'll never catch up at this point. Thank you!!!

SJ - even though I'm mostly carnivore, I'd love to read some of your veggie recipes. But only if it's idiot proof. My cooking skills leave a lot to be desired. My parents always tease me when I offer to cook for them, that I'm trying to get my inheritance early.

Amy - I too love McD's french fries. Darn, now I'm wishing I'd made some fries to go with my burger. I guess this means dinner is going to be hotdogs & fries. Maybe with a springroll for an appetizer. Had fish yesterday, so that craving is gone.

I grew up eating meat with an accompaniment of meat, with the occasional potato thrown in as a side dish. What can I say, my ethnic background consists of meat eaters. Why am I afraid Aph or NS will take that the wrong way?

Rose - I know you've got a twit of a Dr. Do you have a walk-in clinic nearby? They're usually connected to a hospital. You can always tell them that you're not comfortable with a male Dr & want a fenale (instead of saying how ditzy yours is).

I'm lucky that I've got some good Drs right now. Had an idiot when I was a kid - spent 8 years on antibiotics, cause he wouldn't believe that I had allergies. After 8 yrs of begging to get tested for allergies, they discovered I had a bad reaction to grass, dust, pollen, the great outdoors.

O, Rose, if you send out the search party, have them parade outside my window - I can use a bit of eye candy.

umm the parade will have to detour then you are kind of out of the way haha will have them swing by your place when im done with them maybe you can get one of them to hold the flashlight for you
