Our family is going on vacation at the end of this month and we're heading to a place where we'd need a better camera than what we currently have. Nothing too fancy, just something with a better zoom. So after checking out the electronics section here, I clicked on some links and found a site that had a $40 mail in rebate form! Sweet! Checked some more and found that Future Shop price matches! even sweeter! So...after a bunch of looking around at different sites (LD, Blacks, Future Shop) we went to Future Shop and bought this:



So, the deal is:
Future Shop price $279
Blacks sale price $239
MIR $40

Future shop price matched and I'll mail in the rebate today. Got a pretty good camera for $199!

I'm pretty happy with it....but the bells and whistles. I hope I can figure out how to take a picture with it! LOL

**Edited: After the guy rang it all up (we purchased other items as well) he handed me a printed coupon good for the next year...10% off all our printer ink. I'll have to find out Future Shops ink price and see if the 10% will be good enough or if Costco is still cheaper. But...maybe if they go on sale??

Awesome - did you get it on the weekend to use the $10 off $50 coupon too?
About the ink - we got that 10% thing too when we bought our printer, but FS ink is always pricey even with the discount. For us, London Drugs is the cheapest, or Staples if LD is out of our ink. (Epson, HP printers)

Bought it on Saturday....but totally forgot about the $10 off $50 coupon. Drat! oh well...maybe another time! I wasn't sure about the ink prices, I didn't bother to look at the time. I have only shopped at FS a handful of times, do they put their inks on sale at all?
