I know the first time I saw that armful of cats pic last year, I thought it was real and thought - wow, how lucky! Cuz there's nothing better than an armload of cats!

thanks for the kind thoughts about my aunt bar, she was
95 years old, and had had a stroke, which she just couldn't recover from.
bar and my other great aunt, were lefthanded, and they both
made sure i did not knit left like they did, although all 3 of us
bowled left handed 5 pin, haha.
i was remembering the last time i saw bar. my nanny,
(bar's oldest sister, and was over a hundred), my uncle, my cousin and i
were visiting at her house, in thorburn, (nova scotia),
where both bar and nanny had been post mistress.
my cousin was telling us an amusing story, about his son, (who was about 8 then),
waking up, yelling in french, arguing with his french teacher.
nanny asked, 'who won?' bar said something along the lines of
'well, that is the important part'.
that day bar literally gave nanny the sweater off her back, which her daughter had knit.
bar, really, was one of the sweetest people anyone would have loved to have known.

Just some morning thoughts, cause I've been doing some reflecting,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Thinking of how things change, as we sit by unsuspecting,
Do you remember when “wicked” was nefarious & not so complementary?
Now if something is “wicked”, you have gained your point of entry?
How about when “thongs” were footwear that you wore to the beach?
Now on some, unflattering undergarments, but I won’t make a speech,
It used to be if you were “sick”, you needed to rest in bed,
Now if something is “sick”, it means totally elating instead,
If you were doing some “*n”, you at least had someone to blame,
Now when you do some “*n”, it’s a happy thing to proclaim,
It was frustrating if you “flip-flopped” cause you kept changing your views,
Now it’s “flip-flops” that we adorn, in the form of funky shoes,
I must say urban buzz words, of something I find amusing,
It’s just that I’m in a generation that does find some things confusing,
I know how to chillax & I’ve now learned how to dip,
& on sunny summer afternoons, I like to take a kip!
