I really don't even know where to begin. Just to warn you this could end up long. I tend to be long winded when it comes to my children. lol

I guess I should start with the fact that I was completely shocked that I was pregnant for the third time. If I was to have children I only ever wanted two. Three just seems like.... it might as well be 18. LOL

I have two hands, two hips, two eyes to care for two. I had no idea what I was going to do with a third. It didn't take to long to prepare for the arrival of my third wee precious one. Mentally, emotionally, and of course all the other things needed for a small one. I kept none of the clothes or baby items from my other two, so we had to start fresh.

The birth went well for the most part. But she ended up having a 'true knot' in her cord. It may not seem all that 'bad', but it certainly scared the crap out of us when we discovered what could have actually happened. Through researching it and talking to our Dr we realize that things could have been horrible for her.

As it is, I couldn't ask for a more perfect little angel. I don't even know where to begin telling anyone what effect someone so small has on you. Not that I've forgotten my first two. You must understand I love them dearly. But there is something about my last that is really breaking my heart. She's my last baby. Those words sink in now and again and make me really stop what I'm doing and try my best to absorb all she is right now. I will never again enjoy all these wonders of having my own baby. The first goofy smile, the first giggle, the first noisy coo's, the first time standing, and through all those precious firsts I'll never again experience.

I've shared with you here, some images I've put together of a few of those firsts. The image I entered into the contest is of her first week. She is exactly one full week there.



In the one below you'll see her silly smiles, the first time on daddy's shoulders, the first time looking at flowers, the first time getting lifted in the air and the first time grabbing her feet.



In this video below her daddy is singing her "The insy wensy spider". He didn't know I was recording him. LOL He simply loves it when I do that to him. hahaha

Jersey was born on valentines day (February 14th 2006). We had a c-section schedule for the end of March but she had plans to play cupid that year. She weighted 5 lbs 9 ounces (small but mighty). We were expecting her to look like her older sister, But she surprised us with her blond hair and blue eyes. She is such a mommy's girl. So thank-you to all who voted for her.

So I think I got this video up and running! No music, just pics.

Alexander arrived 10 days early. He was a perfect 6 lbs 4 ounces. He had lots of hair and brown eyes from the start (there was no question in colour really).

If you look at baby pictures of me, he looks a whole lot like his Mom! It's pretty weird how much he looked like me.

I cannot describe how much I love my little man. He is our first, and we hope to have another (who will be as great as him).

A few little things to add about Alex. He LOVES animals - especially our poor cat (who weighs more than Alex still). Alexander's first clear and distinct word was "kitty". Doggy folowed not too far behind. Daddy was in the first as well (how frustrating that Mommy was way behind "kitty"...oh well.) Alexander will straddle the cat and bounce up and down on him..poor cat. The cat puts up with it so well, and really does love Alex.

Everyday I amazed that I can love somone as much as I love ALex. I didn't know my heart could fit that much love in it.

Alexander is a smiley, happy boy. He is so good natured. Every where I go, Alex draws attention, not just because he is so darned cute, but because he is smiling laughing, and saying "hi" to everyone. How could you resist that little boy.

OK I have babbled enough.

My little cutie decided he didn't want to wait and wanted to come early. At 36 weeks and three days, after 14 hours of labour and an emergency C-Section he came screaming into my life. He spent a week in the NICU to regulate his sugar levels and get rid of Jaundice but all is well now.

Every morning as I wake up and go to get him from his crib, I lean over and he grins with his big gummy smile and flashes those big beautiful blue eyes and I realize that nothing in the world makes me happier then being his mommy.

I wish I knew how to make a video of these pictures, but I don't so I have been trying to put together a snapshot of Skyler's life so far. I hope I have done this right and that it is not too long...Here's hoping:

Skyler was 10 months old last May 27. Although she got off to a bad start, she is doing very, very well. You have seen the picture of her right after she was born. She was supposed to be born around mid-October, but was born July 27. She only weighed 1 lb 7.5 oz. This is where she spent the first three months of her life. She's in there - you just have to look real hard.


I have been trying to find some way to show you how small she was. So I just wanted you to see her bowl bathtub shortly before she left the hospital.



Well, she was finally released from the hospital October 30 (to everyone's great joy). Her other grandma had prepared and made this cute halloween costume for her:


Christmas was a happy time for everyone. She was five months old and slowly growing and getting bigger. We were all so thankful and hopeful that most of her problems were behind.

She was finally old enough and active enough to go into her jumper. Unfortunately she couldn't reach the floor, so a couple of phone books were needed. Boy did she have fun then!

Here she is at six months old looking surprised and if you look real close you can see her extra long eyelashes and she learned how to use them early in life with her cute side glances and flirtiness.

Skyler is a happy baby who loves 'fuzzy' blankets. For her, nothing else will do.

She has grown so much she can now really get going in her jumper:

Last weekend was the Teddy Bear's Picnic and Skyler loved it. She turned 10 months and had a lot of fun with the clowns, bubbles, and books. But like most kids, she loves being help up high in the air. Giggles and laughs all around. This is the picture I have as my background, so you can see why I have to smile all day long.

That's a quick look at Skyler. Hopefully you can see how much she has grown and how well she is doing, She now weighs about 12 lbs and is probably the happiest baby I have every seen. I am told see does cry, but she sure doesn't do too much of that around here. As you can tell, she has me, and anyone who knows her, wrapped around her little finger. It's a good thing she has long, long fingers. Don't feel sorry for her - she doesn't deserve that. She is a fighter and has come a long way. She is now sitting (for a while) and starting to crawl (unfortunately it's backwards). She is a normal (albeit smaller), healthy baby. She has the most wonderful laugh and her smile lights up the world.

At 8 months old, he’s able to walk with support (either from mom and dad or by holding unto something), stand and dance. We’ve let him crawl all over the room (boy, this kid is fast). He’s now also trying to learn how to talk and communicate. In addition, he’s so camera friendly (wants me to take pictures of him and giggles if he see pictures or videos of himself). If you still couldn't get enough of Aiden, see him dance.

So I'm back and just saw the video my little brother posted of Austin.....hahahaha. Wow!

I don't really have a sentimental story about Austin. Austin is my first baby and love him dearly! He is the funniest little guy....for example...
a few days before mothers day my hubby was giving Austin a bath and said "what should we get mommy for mothers day Austin?" and Austin replied "bra". My hubby thought he just heard wrong and maybe had something else on his mind (haha) so he called me in the room and asked him again and he said "bra, bra". I couldn't stop laughing....we've decided though that we are definitely not counting "bra" as his first word.....so we are still waiting to hear a mama or dada.

Austin is also the biggest flirt in the world. If he sees another baby which is a girl he wants to go over to her and hold her hand. Also any older females that are around and not paying attention to him he will make a sound to get their attention and then start smiling at them. He is such a ham.

First off I want to say that every baby is adorable. I have never seen such cuties. I look forward to learning about them all and I've loved everything that has been shared so far. For those that voted for my daughter, thank you

Lily is such a gift. I really couldn't ask for a batter baby. She was a planned c-section at a little obver 38 weeks. We went into the hospital expecting to be home a few days later. Little did we know that our precious daughter had something else in mind. She was perfect when she was born. Even though we knew she was a girl it was such joy to hear those words right after she was born. Her cry was perfect and she was perfect. Our family was complete.

The night of her birth day we found out that our blood types were incompatable and she was very jaundiced. My antibodies were attacking her blood cells and breaking them down. She spent 4 days under the bili lights and when we finally got to come home she had numerous trips to the doctor. It took almost the 1st month of her life to recover and start to pink up. Looking back at the pictures I never realised how yellow she really was.

She's doing really well now. About to turn 6 months old. How time flies so fast I will never know. She is rolling both ways and just started to sit up. Soon she will be off crawling after her big brother. She has brought so much joy to our family and I love going to get her when she wakes up every morning knowing there is such innocence in her smile. Everything is new and a learning experience for her. I look forward to doing my best at being her mother and I hope that I can be the best mother possbile for her

I have my days and sometimes I get a little upset when things don't go my way and all I want is my Dad.



I sometimes like to get into mischief. After all I am just a baby and discovering how things work is fun! For example the kleenex box I love how when you take one out another pops right out behind it. Fascinating!



I like to remind my mom to stop and smell the roses or better yet blow the dandelion seeds its much more fun!



Sometimes I need to remind my Mother to stop taking life so seriously its ok to clown around and have some fun. Laughter is the best medicine to any bad day.

I'm so excited that Jillian make it to Round 2. Here's her entry pic again:



Jillian is our second daughter and is an absolutely delightful child to have around. Her nickname around here is "Jolly Jillian" because she smiles and laughs almost constantly. I'll post some more photos of her.



Here she is, only a few days old. Right from the start, we knew she had a sweet disposition. The only time she cried was when we'd put her in the bathtub!

As she grew, she got to be super smiley and folks started stopping us everywhere we'd go to tell us how happy she looked:

As she's gotten bigger, she's become a bit of a ham. Here's her scary face (she has trouble keeping a straight face through this):

She has been a beautiful addition to our family and we feel so blessed to have her. Her serenity and joyful spirit remind us, and all who know her, that life is good!

Wow thanks for the votes everyone, and i bet you all had a hard time deciding....i thought all the babies were adorable.
Now i know you are probably thinking this is my mom
writing this reply but it is actually me Teaghann. I was
born to be a star at everything i do, so between the crying
( not that much though) ,
the pooping, laughing, eating, sleeping and burping i have
managed to sneak away from mom and write an autobiography
of sorts.
So the way i hear my mom tell the story it goes something like this.
....I was originally suppose to arrive on election day ( Nov. 13 )
but not wanting to be confused with other
whining people ( mayors etc. ) i decided to postpone
my arrival until Novemeber 25th. I figured that since i
was comfortable in mommy's stomach i shouldn't leave
until i was ready, and after almost 30 hours of labour
mom and dad decided it was time to have me come out
so i arrived by C-Section at 1:03 am. One look into
my mommy and daddy's eyes i knew they were going to
be mine forever
Fast forward 6+ months, 18.5 lbs and 29.5 inches long,
and here I am writing emails ( although my Aunt kelly got
emails from me everyday since december so i am a master
of this thing...i even came up with my own handle of Diaper T
- okay with the help of mommy of course ). and letting you
know a little bit about me. I am the only child so far, and
everyone else seems to think i need someone else to play
with but right now i have lots to do and so little time.
Lately my time has been spent eating the newspaper,
giggling, crawling ( new this week! ) and trying to come
up with ideas to manage my crazy red hair. If you know
what bozo the clown looks like with his hairline than i
guarantee that you now know what i look like. I spend
my days playing with my daddy, whose on parental leave,
while mom is at work at the daycare centre.
I just wanted to show a little bit of myself in this blip and
i managed to accomplish it. I am going to try to put another
photo up of me soon, but i am only a 6 month old genius
on the computer and maybe not so on the photo end of it.
I hope this works and if it doesn't i will sneak back in and try
to fix it soon.

Boy did you ever do a great job Boo!!! It was so hard looking at the pictures when some of them were on a wide screen (?) but you have made them all fit so well. I love it.
