My dad saves every piece of wood that he thinks "might be good some day"!! LOL!! If someone is throwing out a piece of pile wood or a stick of wood he takes it home!! But this can in very handy when we built our kitchen cupboards. We used "recycled" plywood for all the drawers which saved be hundreds if I had to purchase that wood. Most of the stuff he got from the garbage pile at the construction site he worked at.The machinery was shipped in crates made with new plywood so ones sanded a bit and stained just like new.

My dad is/was somewhat of a hoarder. He used to save all kinds of plumbing, electrical, screws, rusty nails (he actually said he would clean them up and pound them out stright again) but when we moved back in I told him we need SOME room so I used to do big cleanups when they were gone to the country. LOL BIG cleanups. He still hangs on to his stuff "just in case".

I think I have become the opposite. The more I see that show the more I want to get rid of stuff. LOL now that Kiera is in school many of her toys are going to diasappear.

I hope that now that Lily is starting play school 3 afternoons a week I might be able to have some of her toys disappear as well.

DH does not like Hoarders so I did not get to watch last night as he was home. Not sure why but I love watching that show! I have been 'purging' for a few weeks here, olove to get rid of stuff!!! Unfortuantely have not been able to have a yard sale so have to decide what to do with it all!!! Missed the news too but I know that there was a house here recently that firefighters could not get into due to suspected hoarding. Scary stuff.

I read a sad story recently of a hoarder in las vegas that went missing. Her husband found her in the pile of rubble a few months later. Even the sniffer dogs hadnt located her due to the smells in the house.
