I hope your trip goes well, DH666 - nah, it wouldn't be a vacation without your family!
Well, I slept from 11 til midnight, tries to sleep more, but couldn't - so I've been up for hours - and wow, is this ever going to mess up my day! Seems to happen to me every few months - but, gee, all-nighters were WAY more fun when I was younger!

Way back when I had a GoLite (light therapy lamp) it seemed to help. The sleep people said my melatonin was screwed up and the different seasons (# of light hours changing dramatically) is what caused this.
Maybe you could benefit? There's supplements of melatonin you can get at a natural food store. They're no miracle cure by any means and they won't knock you out like Good Ole Vallium but it stabilizes a little and it does help. If you're taking ANY medication ask your pharmacist for contraindications as I know there are some. It's like taking Vit E if you're on blood pressure meds... some of your meds may need to be adjusted. I know I can't take it while I'm still breast feeding. I can't remember why, she just said no lol so I left it at that.
